After their loss, Kael and Makucha began their treacherous journey back to Mshindi, though of course begrudgingly. Neither them nor their army wanted to face the wrath of Mshindi, yet they had no choice. Vitani had made sure that they were too weak to continue to battle, and the Roar of the Elders she now possessed... That was unexpected.

KAEL: "Move it! Pick up the pace, all of you!", he angrilly roared disregarding the fact his army was battered.

Makucha strode up to his General.

MAKUCHA: "Do you really want us all to reach the Dark Kingdom quicker?", he asked sarcastically.

KAEL: "Are you stupid? Why would I be worried about that?", he asked in a way that was strong yet held a hint of worryful tone, carefully masked by his anger.

MAKUCHA: "I don't know, maybe because of the state we are in right now and the fact we lost!", he retorted back.

KAEL: "I had no knowledge that The Demon Warrior possessed the roar. You should be aware that Mshindi will not tolerate our failure, however, we do possess more knowledge than him. We know of this setback.", he stated plainly as the group continued.

MAKUCHA: "So you aren't-", he started

Kael whipped around right to Makucha's muzzle in an angry snarl.

KAEL: "If our great Emperor has a problem, maybe he should have assigned me to take the Tree of Life instead!", he snarled as Makucha paced backward a step.

MAKUCHA: "Geez... ok... what is your deal with the Tree of Life anyway?", he asked as the group continued again.

Kael took a deep breath and then decided it was time to explain to his Lieutenant.

KAEL: "That royal family there has wronged me and hurt me in more ways than one...", he explained.

MAKUCHA: What do you mean?, he asked confused.

KAEL: "A long time ago....", he began.

BACKSTORY

----------------

A female tiger dripped blood as she limped. There was a tiger beside her, doing what he could to support her. The female tiger collapsed as the male cried for help and her to get up. Luckily, they had met the entrance of the Tree of Life. A lion and lioness strode up to the pair quickly.

ANANDA: "It's ok!", she said in her most soothing voice, "We are here to help!"

At first the male tiger was shocked by the sudden approach, yet he had no choice. His mate needed help.

KAEL: "M-My name is Kael... please... we need to get to the Tree of Life...", he pleaded with teary eyes.

SAHASI: "Kael, you are in luck... I am Prince Sahasi of the Tree of Life and this is Princess Ananda, we will escort you", he replied arriving on the same scene.

Sahasi and Ananda supported the fallen tiger, and while doing so, Ananda noticed something about the female's body.

ANANDA: "Sahasi... we need to move... quickly...", she said knowing what that meant.

Sahasi seeing the same thing as his mate nodded i agreement.

SAHASI: "Come on, follow us Kael", he replied.

KAEL: "Of course!",  he said as he puffed out his chest.

ANANDA: "Come on... we must leave now...", she stated more worriedly.
