𝐒𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬. 𝟐

Cleaning was going on through the day. Wheezie finished up the living and got to hang out with her friends at the pool; thank Goodness for Saturday afternoons. Sarah finished cleaning her room and decided to sneak and help Rafe in the kitchen because she did feel bad for how their dad verbally attacked him when they all did the same sort of thing. That got Rafe to finish cleaning more quicker. Rafe and Sarah aren't the closest, but Rafe was very appreciative for the help. Enola finished cleaning the dinning room and she cleaned her room. She got over earlier, calling out her dad on the favoritism that's mostly towards Sarah. She wasn't mad at Sarah to begin with, just her dad. But it was hard to be mad at her dad for long deep down.

Enola was now outside sitting with Rafe as Ward was still fixing up the yard. Sarah then soon joined them. It was awkward at first but they eased into it.

"Listen Enola.. I'm sorry.. about dad earlier .. I mean.. I should've said something..", Sarah said as she tucked her hair behind her ear.

"It's past now... I don't like when we're in shambles. But dad really needs to like get his shit together. Because favoritism can really kill a kid, Rafe for example", Enola said as Rafe looked at her and chuckled.

"Well I'm not on the verge of suicide, but I feel crazy sometimes for sure.. I just want a break from dad. Is there anything we can do tonight. There's still time to plan something", Rafe said.

"Well we can throw a party, and Those Pogues are definitely invited", Sarah winked at Enola as she looked away and blushed.

"Woah woah, why'd you wink at her? Y'all hiding something from me once again", Rafe asked as he rolled his eyes.

"Well Enola may not admit it but.. I can tell she has feelings for John B. Last Bonfire I saw her face", Sarah said as Enola sighed and covered her face in embarrassments

"Oh hell no, Enola don't tell this is true! John B??? Come on now, the dam guy may be a Pouge or whatever but he and his friends always on some crazy shit, and he kissed one of his only girl.. friends so not worth it", Rafe said.

Enola then moved her hands away and bit her lip a bit like how Rafe did earlier with his lips. "Well it's not true, I just observe that's all. I know he kissed Kie.. I saw it myself but that's whatever you know. And I know he and his friends are always doing horse play activities but don't act like you don't with Topper", Enola said as Rafe gasped. "Woah woah waittt", Rafe said as he threw his hands up and Sarah laughed. "Absolutely not Rafe, you and Topper are always doing over the top things and that's also why you got in trouble", Enola said while laughing

"Okay.. maybe you're right.. but I just don't need you to be hurt that's all.. you're my fa.. well you're my little sister", Rafe said as Sarah punched his arm lightly. "Heyyy what was that for", Rafe said as he turned to look at her offensively. "Don't start Rafe, I know you were gonna say that you're favorite sister is Enola, but that's fine because me and you were never that close anyways and it's better that way", Sarah said as she crossed her arms.

"And why would that be", Enola asked.

"Whenever me and Rafe argue it's horribly and that used to be a lot so appreciate that we're settle", Sarah said as Enola nodded.

Ward wiped his forehead after fixing up the yard and he saw all his kids talking together and laughing. It made him smile because getting along meant more peace. But he kept playing back what Enola said earlier about favoritism and it still bothers him. The topic of favoritism isn't something he's willing to accept.

Growing up Ward had many ups in downs with his father, probably shaping him into the way he is with his son. And when it comes to Wheezie, he has no issue with her. Probably because she just stays quiet half the time and she's calm, hardly causes any trouble. And he sees her as a sweet innocent soul because she's the youngest. With Sarah, he sees her as a princess because of how she acts and how she reminds him of Rapunzel. It's almost as if she can do no wrong because she is like a princess. With Enola, Ward always saw her to be a descendent, like the four "evil" kids from that Disney movie. Why? Well because as Enola grew up, she was trouble, she was joyful, she did have care for others and showed it in many ways, and she was very attached with her Father. So even though Ward may have downs with Enola, she would always be at the back of his mind.
