𝐒𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬. 𝟏𝟏

It was A Friday and Sarah, Enola, Topper, and Wheezie were setting up decorations at Toppers beach house to celebrate Rafe getting into college. Topper asked Rafe if they could hang out there because it's been a while and he's tired of just staying at the beach, to cover up the surprise.

Wheezie put a cake in the middle of the table, chips on the left side of the table, and trail mix, sweet and sour candy on the right. And of course There were drinks in the fridge.

Sarah was drinking some wine while typing a goodbye and congratulations letter with Enola. Although Enola took some of the snacks to eat so Sarah told her to stay away from the key board with her greasy fingers which made them both laugh.

Topper put up some lights and put red cups around with manikins that wore beach shirts to represent frat boys since Rafe and Topper used to do frat parties all the time during this gap year. That made Ward hate Rafe even more but not Topper..

Enola threw her bags away and washed her hands before approaching Topper. "So.. are you like any bit of sad that Rafe is leaving in a few weeks", Enola asked. Topper placed the rest of his cups down and turned his attention to Enola. "Well, I'm gonna miss him so much.. no homo..", Topper said as Enola laughed. She always found it stupidly funny when guys acted nervous to show they cared for their best friend the way girls care for there's. I mean friends are friends.

"Don't say no homo.. there's no point because I already know you mean it platonically", Enola said as Topper nodded in embarrassment. "Yeah heh.. sorry about that.. but yeah.. he's been my best friend for a while and now he's going to be going to college. I mean I never thought I'd be a junior who's best friends with an almost college student. It's pretty crazy", Topper said with light laugh.

"Well at least you two are close. You're like probably the brother he's always wanted considering he's quite literally "alone" in a house with girls. Ward doesn't count as anyone at all btw", Enola said laughing. "Oh yeah, I never really thought about it that way but now I will thanks.. and even though he'll be gone, im happy he's putting himself first and plus I still have Sarah here", Topper said smiling.

"You guys are super cute oh my gosh", Enola said.

"And I'm sure you and John B are too", Topper said as Enola coughed a bit. "What? Is he not that good? You're living a lie!", Topper asked chuckling. "Well he's not bad.. there was something that happened between us but we resolved it but I don't why it still kindve annoys me.. I just hope he doesn't pull it again..", Enola said.

"Well.. what did he do", Topper asked. "You seriously think I'll tell you before my best friend? Better yet before Sarah", Enola said laughing.

"Well yes, you already spilled some details", Topper said.

"I know.. and sorry about that", Enola said as Topper rolled his eyes. "Just tell me, im not gonna tell anyone. Not even Sarah, it was your situation so you do that", Topper said crossing his arms. Enola then sighed as she leaned on the wall. "Well when me and John B made it official he jumped to you know.. having sex.. I didn't want it but he still pushed me into doing it.. I was icky for a few days after and covered it up.. and then I decided to tell him about it.. he got mad at first and then he apologized so I forgave him but boys.. teen boys.. men.. not so trustworthy.. I mean he may do it again.. I mean I'm not the best girl.. well not in terms of loyalty.. I feel like he'll probably end up crushing on Sarah.. NOT TO INSTIGATE.. it's just that they always do..", Enola said looking down.

"Oh shit.. oh.. well wow.. your first experience and it wasn't even a tad great because you didn't want it.. im so sorry that it went that way.. I mean any guy or girl should be consensual. That's what binds a relationship more and more. Sarah taught me that all because I said hi to her for the first time one day", Topper said smiling. "She was just so upfront and confident about her words I just knew I was gonna fall for her hard and here I am. So just.. just look out for yourself and don't always think so negative okay. You're a pretty girl and nice one, the right one will come. And speaking of coming, Sarah-", Topper said as Enola's eyes widened and she put her pointer finger on his lips shushing him. "HUH!"

Topper then removed her finger and laughed. "I mean Sarah is coming over here".

"Ohh.. heh I knew that.. just forget it..", Enola said as she bit her lip a little in embarrassment.

"Heyy guyss. See you two are doing some bonding. What y'all talking about", Sarah asked. "Nothing crazy, just have some things to figure out withinnn my head, to which I will", Enola said as Topper and Sarah laughed.

"Well I'm done decorating so before Rafe shows up, we can have some time together Babee, how bout it", Topper said as he wrapped his arm around Sarah pulling her close and kissing her head making Enola cringe. "Oh please you wish John B was here doing that to you right now", Sarah said as Enola chuckled and rolled her eyes. "Whatever, and so not true", Enola said as she walked away.

"Well if only John B and Rafe were also friends", Sarah said looking at Topper. "Yeah.. that wouldn't ever be some good idea..", Topper said thinking about what Enola told him.

Enola then approached Wheezie who was sitting outside on the balcony while the wind was blowing slighty and lights were outside almost everywhere in the street as it was night.

"Hey sis, I see that Sarah and Topper are probably getting it onnn", Wheezie said as Enola gagged making Wheezie laugh. "Alright, we wouldn't want to see that picture.. just no", Enola said.

"Well I'm sure you and John B wouldve if y'all were here at this nice beach house", Wheezie said chuckling. "Okay if Rose heard this, I'm sure you'd probably get grounded", Enola said. "Yeah but, she's not, lucky me", Wheezie said adjusting her glasses.

"Wait omg that's Rafes jeep showing up.. run back insideee", Wheezie said as she turned around quick as Enola followed.

Wheezie then almost tripped making her way to Sarah and Topper. "Screw the smooching! Rafe is here!", Wheezie shouted as Topper and Sarah Jumped. Topper then quickly told everyone to hide behind the couch as he went up to the door waiting for Rafe to knock.

Rafe came out his jeep and made his way up the steps to the door knocking. Topper then smiled and opened the door slowly and only a little. "Hey man..", Topper said as Rafe cocked his eyebrow. "Don't tell me you brought my little sis here forgetting that this was supposed to be a bros night", Rafe said as he shot a glare at Topper Barging in. Wheezie, Sarah, and Enola then jumped up saying surprise, Making Rafe jump back laughing. "I should've known!", Rafe said as he walked in more looking around. "Bro you even got the frat stuff down! This is amazing! Thanks guys!", Rafe said as he hugged everyone.

"We just want to celebrate you and you going away soon, it was very much deserving", Enola said smiling. "Well let's get on with the celebration!", Rafe said as he walked over to the snack table as everyone else followed.

They all ate snacks and did "beer" pong but with sparkling wine since Wheezie refused to even try alcohol. 

While doing "beer" pong, Enola mostly thought about John B. She told everyone she had to take a quick call and stepped outside to ring up John B.

As John B picked up the phone, music and laughing was in the background. It sounded like a party. "Hey babe, what's up", John B asked shouting over the noise as the sounds faded as he moved to a more quiet area. "Are you at a party", Enola asked. "Well no and yes, I threw it at my place. I wish you could come but family comes first", John B said as Enola laughed a bit. "Yeah it does heh.. anywho I just.. I can't stop thinking about you.. and I'm not sure why.. I mean a lot has been on my ever since what happened to us and I know I should just get over it but I'm just a nervous wreck.. I just don't want you to leave me", Enola said pacing back and forward on the porch.

"Hey hey, I'm not going to leave you okay. Many relationships have ups and downs but we'll work it out together okay", John B said reassuring Enola. "Alright heh.. um maybe If there is time I could call up Rhyme and meet you at your party", Enola said smiling behind the phone.

"That'd be awesome! I hope it's possible. Anyways gotta go, there doing beer pong and I'm ready to win", John B said happily as Enola laughed. "Alright then, bye babe love you", Enola said. "Love you too", John B said before hanging up.

Enola then took a deep breath in relief as she put her phone in her pocket before walking back inside to everyone else. Things were far more better now.
