𝐒𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬. 𝟐𝟑

Now weekend time and Rafe was here! We had a nice dinner together and Rose and me furthermore told him about what happened. The annoyance in his face was clear. I knew he wanted to just kill our father, I could never blame him or even be nervous about that thought that he has. Ward.. he could've killed me even. So I understand.

John B wanted to be in the audience at court but I told him no. I knew it was going to be a great pain there and I just don't want him to see me in such a setting. I'd be so embarrassed and plus me and John B are more than happy right now together and I don't want to sadden that. I hope he believed me when I said so.

It was evening. The sky was orange. Reminded me of the beauty of outerbanks, I should really pay more attention to it.

Wheezie and Sarah were in the living room of Roses beach house. They were playing UNO, a game that would definitely set me off. Everytime I'm close to winning, someone draws me so many cards and then they get to say UNO. I have the worst luck I feel.

I soon walked inside to greet them though. I'll be glad to sit and watch them play and sink in my own thoughts. Court was nearing and I know I'd miss school because of it. I wasn't exactly ready.. to face my father.. my father who isn't my dad.. the person who I couldn't stand if he called me his daughter. I know one I'll cry horridly about this.. and I hate that I could feel it creeping up. But being around the people I love is a great distraction.

"Sooo will you join in on this or are you aware that you'll end up losing like usual", Sarah said in a sassy manner make Wheezie laugh. I rolled my eyes as I flicked a card at her face make her jolt back. I bursted out laughing as I then got up as soon as she shouted my name. She then proceeded to chase me around the house as Wheezie took out her phone to get it on video.

I eventually knocked into Rafe making him nearly hit the wall as he caught me. Sarah then stood there and started laughing. "Crap Wheezie did you get that on video!!", Sarah asked happily as Rafe pushed me forward as I caught my breath.

"You better not post that!", I shouted.

"Sis you always have more embarrassing moments than I do", Sarah said giggling as I rolled my eyes. "I should've filmed you when you nearly crapped your pants because you ate too much lava cake that one time!", I shouted as Sarah's eyes widened and Rafe held in his laughter.

"So not funny! That does not relate to running!", Sarah said as she crossed her arms.

"Well then don't say I always have embarrassing moments.. that's embarrassing", I said awkwardly as Sarah threw her hands up in the air.

"Well poof okay then.. I'm gonna call Topper, maybe I'll enjoy time far better now then", Sarah said as she walked away as Wheezie sighed. "Great now who will i play UNO with..".

Rafe then smiled and walked over to her. "Don't worry sis you still got me and we all know Ebola would lo-", Rafe said as I cut him off. " I will lose? Is that what you were gonna say brother yes I knowww.. and did you just call me EBOLA!", I then grunted and stormed off as I heard the two chuckling. I then walked to my room and plopped down on my bed. I'm at least glad me and my siblings are back into our natural groove of things. It's definitely getting me through. And Honestly the fact that John B and I have stuck around each other through like so much so far, I feel so lucky. I didn't think my first ever boyfriend would be this amazing.  But then again he was my first ever big crush and now I have him. No one's gonna take him away, not even my sister. Although I don't think she would or could. She's finally settled and with Topper it seems. They're locked in so I shouldn't ruin my mind by thinking such a heartbreaking thought. Makes me want to puke.. ew..
