MAY'S POV:-

He left the room.
"Noah" I whispered, have I heard that name before? I questioned my self.
And what was that just now, the way he was looking at me, it's like he can read me. Thinking about that I noticed there's a wet towel and bowl of cold water was there on the table.
I smiled softly... he doesn't even know who I am , still he did all this for me. I mean it's just a normal fever.

I felt bad about my behavior. I wasn't trying to be rude but a lot is going on and I'm scared I don't know who to trust. When he came at me with the knife in his hand I really thought that he's going to kill me. But the next moment when I found out that he was taking care of me all this time, I felt terrible. But you know ,
I never know how to thank someone or how to talk politely.

I've always been rude to the people I like, and rudest to those I love. I never show my feelings to anyone. Like today I didn't even know how to say thanks to him. He's let me stay here and took care of me like I'm a child. He's a good person.

While thinking all of this I noticed the mirror infront of me changing its reflection. I saw lily is in there in my bedroom.

"Oh lily," I forgot about her when I came here. She must be worried. But someone's with her, there's a guy, he's back facing me so I can't see his face. What is she doing with a guy? I never knew she had a boyfriend. Lily was crying and it seems that the guy is consoling her.

"Who is this guy "? I thought to myself
I was so into thinking about that guy that I didn't realize that the portal is open and I can go back from there. When everything thing started to dissappear then I realized that I lost my chance to go back to my world.

"NO NO NO NO NOOOOOOO SHITTTTT" I was shouting
I jump out of the bed and ran towards the mirror but I failed. Everything disappeared. I couldn't go back.

Noah heard me , and came rushing to my room
"WHAT HAPPENED "?? HE asked
" Nothing, I'm just surprised that my face looks so pale" I replied

"Yes because you didn't eat anything and you're weak , so just lie down" he asked

After some time he came with a bowl of hot soup and gave it to me.
"He is so kind." I thought
"I'm sorry for my behavior earlier " I said

He looked at me and asked
"What did you just say"?

"I won't repeat " I replied

Coz I know he's going to make fun of me.
He started laughing and said
"You spoiled child know how to say thanks ?, HA HA HA HA HAA HAA...

I just rolled my eye's. 👀

"But you know, you look adorable when you're embarrassed" he said.
I faked a smile and closed my eyes.

🪞TIME SKIP🪞

I was sitting on the couch having some fruits. And guess what? I'm reading the Manga. No I'm not giving my self any spoilers. it's just that I'm in the future so I'm enjoying some of the benefits I have here. It's almost 7 in the evening. Noah was sleeping in the room.

"You read those"? He suddenly came out of no where
I thought he was sleeping

So I flinched "OH GOD NOOAAHHHh"
" YOU SCARED ME" I shouted.

He laughed and I rolled my eye's

" yeah I love reading Manga so what"?? I asked

" I see at least this is something we have in common," he replied

"Yeah?? So who do you like" ? I asked

"RYOMEN SUKUNA" HA HA HA HAAAA
he said copying Sukuna's voice.

"Yeah that explains your behavior sometimes huhhh.. evil" I said

My eye's were fixed on the Manga so I didn't notice, he leans down and whispered to my ear ,
"Girls like evil these days baby"

I immediately got goosebumps all over my body. Suddenly i could hear my heart beat. My cheeks are burning. And when I look up he was so close to me that I could feel his breath. What is it that I feel when he does something like this?

I was never attracted to any guys before , never. But Noah, there's something about him that always gets me. Is it because his unbelievably good looking or because he's just different?

"I know that I have a gorgeous face, so how long are you planning to stare"? He's questioned made me came out of my thoughts , I realized that I was staring at him and that was embarrassing.

I pushed him and he fell on the carpet
" don't use that cheap tricks on me" I snapped.
"But you were staring" he replied

I sighed

I didn't say anything and just walked from there to the bedroom. I noticed Noah's laptop was there on the bed. He must be working and forgot to take the laptop. But I saw a website on the screen, it was my company's name
"EMPIRE FABRICS".

I just went outside and simply asked him "HOW DO YOU KNOW EMPIRE FABRICS "??

" you don't have any manners , do you"? HE asked back,
"Ask me politely then I'll answer. And don't ever touch my laptop". He said

"Just tell me what do you know , please"
I asked

"Why do you want to know ? , your memories coming back?? HE asked

I realized that I told him I don't have any memories from my past. So I just replied that " I just have a feeling that I know this company"

"Oh Alright!!! I am a fashion designer so I always get fabric materials from them , the quality is awesome and I know the owner personally he's great" Noah replied,

" you know him"? I asked

" Yeah, hey maybe they're your family that's why you had a feeling that you know this company". Noah said

"They ? Who? I asked

"Timothy and his wife " Noah replied

"He's married"? I asked in disbelief

" yeah married to Lily Bradford" he replied

"LILY" ? I whispered
