Author's POV:-May's heart raced with worry as she sat by the window, staring out at the simply lit street below. It had been two days since she was discharged from the hospital, her mind consumed with the concern for Noah. The silence at the empty apartment echoed her fears.
Her injured left leg throbbed painfully as she struggled to stand, determined to find Noah. With each step her burned leg protested. But her worry for Noah pushed her forward.
She searched through every corner of their neighborhood, her eyes scanning every face for a glimpse of his familiar features.
She searched everywhere she could think of, his work places, the palaces he might have gone to, but Noah was nowhere to be found.
With each passing moment May's anxiety increased, where could he be? Why hadn't he reached out to me already? These are the questions May had in her mind.
May started losing all her hopes, she realised something was terribly wrong. She fought back tears, her mind racing with worst case scenarios. May's desperation reached its peak when she called Timothy.

They both came to see Noah but instead seeing May made them confused too. At first they had a lot of questions in their mind like, what is she doing here? Does she live with Noah? Are they together?
But suppressing their curiosity, they decided not to pry on May's personal life. Instead they offered a concerned inquiry about Noah's whereabouts.
"What do you mean, you can't find him"? Nina asked,
" That day, before leaving he said, he had an important business to deal with, since then I haven't heard anything from him---- i looked everywhere but..." May was so exhausted she couldn't even complete her whole sentence.
As Ian absorbed the situation, he noticed a subtle detail-- May's injured leg is bleeding.
A small pool of blood stained the sofa beneath her,
"May, your leg's bleeding" Ian concerned deepened, so he offered a helping hand.
"Do you have a first-aid box, let me fix that" he continued,
"Oh--- that's okay, I'll take care of that later" May replied,
"What are you saying --- it looks bad--- let us help okay"? Nina asked,
