Noah's POV:-

The more time I spent with her, the more I ask myself that "what if destiny has brought us together"? I always feel captivated by her presence, her smile, and the way she carries herself. There's a sense of familiarity and comfort, as if we've shared countless conversations and experiences together. I truly feel that I've known her for a very long time, and something inside of me tells me that she can feel it too.

" Hey May, Wake up, we've arrived" she fell asleep while we were driving back to our place, so I had to woke her up.
As she slowly opens her eyes, it sparkle with a mix of innocence and warmth, reflecting the beauty of her soul. There's a certain grace in her presence, she always brings a sense of calmness around her, and I can feel that.

She was looking at me with doe eyes, blinking two or three times, I understand that I'm a bit closer to her face but I didn't do that on purpose it's just that, she's so beautiful that I just can't stop myself from going near her,
" What"? She spoke, "what are you looking at"? She asked again.
And that moment I realised that I was staring at her I don't know for how long, so I adjust myself in my seat and spoke out,
"Aahhrrmm.. nothing, just go on, I'm coming" I replied. She got out of the car and went upstairs.

"Haahh..." I sighed,
"What is wrong with me"? I asked myself.
"Whenever she's around I feel like drowned towards her, as if I'm in love with her," I groaned.
" No no no, that can't be true, does it"? I snapped.

When I was in high school I was the most popular guy there, girls were throwing thierselves at me, because I was the most good lookin guy in my school, I remembered how every girl in my class wanted to date me, they sent me chocolates and gifts and stuffs. I can't even count how many of them actually dared to ask me out, I always rejected them, all of them. I've never liked the way they were desperate to date me, some of them even pretended to ignore me just to get my attention.

I was the popular guy in my collage, in my neighborhood, even in my office. But I always waited, for the right girl to come, I always had this feeling that the girl I'm gonna end up with, is different from the others.
Now I wonder if that girl is you May.

While thinking about that I didn't realised when I came in my room, I saw May was sleeping on the couch, I took a blanket and put it on her, I didn't wake her up coz I know she worked really hard today and she's tired.
" Beautiful" I whispered to her ear.

Then I started untied my tie and walked towards my bedroom. I stood in front of my mirror, I fixed my hair and thought of getting a shower before going to sleep, and exactly that moment I saw the mirror is changing its reflection.

It changed it to an open field, covered in a vibrant carpet of lush green grass, majestic tall trees providing shades and adding to the beauty of the landscape.
And scattered throughout the field I see a colourful arrays of blooming flowers, it's like a natural painting. I knew that this mirror in my apartment is portal to another world, but when I crossed through it before it lead me to May's bedroom but now it's totally different.

I know I can go to the other side again but May is sleeping outside, "what if she came and saw me"? I thought to myself. So I ran back outside and saw that she's still sleeping so I locked the door and came infront of the mirror.

When I crossed through the mirror and came to the other side I felt like I've stepped into a dreamy garden, where natures beauty flourishes. And when I look back I saw a small mirror rests peacefully under a towering tree. And through the mirror I can see my bedroom, it's like a secret gateway to a whole new realm.

For a moment I was looking here and there, but I could see no one. After some time I saw a girl running through the beautiful field. Her hair flowing in the wind as she gracefully moves through the tall grass. The sunlight illuminates her radiant smile and the joy in her eyes. She's running towards me.
Each step she takes Seems to be in perfect harmony with the nature, as if she's dancing with the world around her. When she came a little closer to me' I immediately recognise her,
"May" I whispered to myself.

I was totally confused coz I just saw her sleeping in the couch. I look back and look forward again, she came and stood infront of me,
"Ahh.. you finally came Noah" she spoke out.

I was confused " is she talking to me"? I asked myself.
"May you were just,...." I stopped talking coz soon I realised she wasn't talking to me, she was talking to someone behind me, and I realised one other thing that she can't see me or hear me,

so I look back and saw, a guy that looks exactly like me, May ran towards him, and hugged him tight. They both were happy smiling at each other. And I was standing there watching them, for me it was like a dream, I felt like I was dreaming of us , me and May together, in another world.

And don't know why I was happy too, the fact that May and I are together in another realm or I don't know what this is but I felt so happy coz the May I know is silent, she has a bit of sadness in her, she's not capable of expressing her feelings but the May I can see right now here, is so in love with the other me.

It was a beautiful scenery infront of me but then suddenly the weather started to change, it changed it to a dark night with thunder and lightning.
The sky is filled with heavy clouds, casting and eerie darkness all around. Suddenly a brilliant flash of lightning illuminates the sky, followed by a deafening roar of thunder. It's a scene of both awe and mystery.

When I looked back to see if May and the other me was there or not, I saw my beautiful dream changed it to a night'mare.

I saw two people were holding onto May's hand. She was crying and screamming,

"let him go, let him go, please, I beg you" May screamed out loud.

I shifted my gaze to where May was looking and I saw a tall dark figure, were stabbing the other me with a knife. It was all red, blood were everywhere, his eyes were filled with water, he wasn't saying anything he was just looking towards May.

On the other hand, I myself was terrified by that scene, I didn't know what to do, I saw myself getting stabbed until I died. If it's a night'mare it was the most scariest one.

That tall figure started walking towards May, but May was like a living dead body, she wasn't screamming any longer, she was silent, silently looking towards the dead body,

that tall figure stood infront of May and spoke out
" Only if you'd have chosen me, I would've spared his life, no worries I can still have you, all to me"
May shifted her gaze to that tall figure and then looked at me, as if she can see me now,
May snatched the knife from that guy's hand and cutt her own throat with that, blood came out of her mouth, her clothes started to get wet with all of that blood,
Then she looked at the dead body and whispered, " don't worry Noah, I will find you again, if not in this world, I will look for you in another world" and saying that she fell on the ground life less. Dead.

I was so hurt and heartbroken by that, I felt useless, I couldn't do anything to save her, I screamed my lungs out, " NOOOOOOO..." and I ran towards her dead body. She wasn't moving, her eyes weren't sparkling anymore, she's dead.

I was angry, my whole body was griefing over her death, I felt my blood boiling in my veins, I turned back with rage in my eyes to kill that tall figured guy, but when I saw his face I couldn't believe.

"Timothy" I whispered

I won't say farewell,
Because I believe we'll meet again
