Ian's POV:-

"Tell me, what happened to us"? May requested, she was crying.
Ian stood on the edge of the table, his voice soft and full of nostalgia as he recounted his story to May.
"When I was seven years old," Ian began, his eyes drifting to the distant memory,
"I was just an orphan, wandering the streets of the very town. Life was hard, and sickness was a constant companion. There was a terrible flu going around then, one that seemed to spare no one. I remember feeling weaker by the day, with no hope in sight."
May listened with wide eyes, captivated by Ian's words.
He continued, his voice gentle, "It was your mother, the kind and renowned witch, who saved me. She was known throughout the land for her healing powers and her compassionate heart. People from all corners would come to her for cures and comfort."
He paused, a soft smile playing on his lips as he recalled the moment that changed his life.
"One day, she found me lying in the alley, feverish and weak. Without hesitation, she took me in and nursed me back to health. When she learned I was alone in the world, she didn't think twice about adopting me."
Ian's gaze shifted to May, who was standing nearby, her eyes reflecting the same fond memories.
"That's how I met you. You were the eldest daughter of the witch, a beacon of kindness and strength, much like your mother. From the moment we met, we were inseparable. You were exceptional at everything you did, and you always encouraged me to be the best I could be."

May leaned in closer, eager for more. Ian chuckled softly before continuing,
"I could have chosen any path for my future. I was good at many things, thanks to the love and guidance I received. But seeing the way you and your mother helped people, how you both used your gifts to bring hope and healing, I knew I wanted to do the same."
