Noah's POV:-

I woke up feeling a bit dazed and confused, I found myself lying on my bedroom floor. I'm still processing what I just saw on the other side, but I'm quite confused about how I fainted.
I tried to remember everything but what terrifies me the most is Timothy. What the hell was he doing there? He was literally stabbing me back there, a wave of fear crashed over me , making my heart race,and my body trembled.

The last thing I remembered after all that is May, her voice, I don't know where that voice was coming from, but she was asking me something, asking me if I remembered everything now? I still don't understand what she meant but it was so painful, when I saw her die, I felt that I was gonna die too.

"NOAH, NOAH, ARE YOU SLEEPING OR WHAT??? JUST OPEN THE DOOR," May screamed, coz I locked the door before,

I ran towards the door and opened it, when I saw May standing there, I felt relieved. I don't know what came into me, I just hugged her. And I know she was a bit surprised by that,
so she asked "wha.. what happened? Are you okay?"
I didn't say anything even if I can, I wouldn't. I was just happy that she's okay.
She must have felt something too, and that's why she hugged me back.

And that moment I realised that she's so small, and by that I meant her height, I chukled softly.

this feeling that I have now , is it peace? I feel relaxed and calm, I never felt something like this before, this rude Little girl, who I thought would give me headache is making me feel this calm, I can't believe that.

I can feel Our hearts beating as one, As we hold each other, time stands still. But then suddenly She asked,
"Noah, are you feeling better"? Her voice made me came back to the reality. It was a bit awkward, I was totally embarrassed coz I hugged her first, and I can't look at her now' so I just replied with "Mmmmm".

" Then can you please let go off me"? She asked politely. And by that I understood she's a bit embarrassed too.

"WHAT THE HELL YOU WERE DOING? WHY DID YOU LOCKED THE DOOR"? she shouted, and just when I thought she's normal, she starts acting like a spoild brat.

"Why are you shouting"? I asked with a low voice.

"I WAS KNOCKING THIS DAMN DOOR FOR LIKE AN HOUR, I WANTED USE THE BATHROOM" she's still shouting.

"Bathroom? You could have used the other one in the hall" I said.

" Yes but I wanted to use this one" she said pointing her finger towards my bathroom.

"But what's wrong with the other one, in the hall"? I asked.

" Listen, I don't like to talk much, in the morning, so can you please move and let me go"? She snapped.

" Yeah, you don't like to talk in the morning, you shout " I replied making a funny face.

"NOAHH.." She was going to say something I just stopped her, by saying, "don't you wanna use the bathroom now"?
She didn't reply, she just went to the bathroom. I know that she's pissed at me but that's okey.

It was 7 in the morning, I couldn't believe that I was fainted for a whole night. And now that I think about it, it seems like a dream, but what I felt was real. I don't know what this feeling exactly is, but I don't wanna lose her. And the way lily behaved in my office the other day, is telling me that she and her husband both are denger to May.

So I am going to protect her. No matter what happens, I not gonna die the way I saw my self dying on the othe side. This time I will do anything in my power to save her.

🪞TIME SKIP🪞

"I think we should skip office today" I said to May, while we were having breakfast.
"Skip office? Why?" She asked.
"You know, we have to go to the party this evening, so I'm gonna decide what to wear, and rest for the whole day" I replied.
"Ohh" she replied with "not so intresting" looking face.

So I just stood up and sat beside her. I gently run my fingers through her hair, and as I started playing with her locks she turned to me with a surprised face. I noticed her eyes has this Spark that I couldn't find few days ago, I wonder if it is because of me?
I came close to her face and i asked with a husky voice, "So what are you wearing this evening"?

"I don't know," she spoke with a soft tone. And I know she didn't realised that she's staring at me again' Her face looks red, and I just love teasing her so much,

"Are you flattered"? I asked while smirking,
Her expression is changing so I understand that she's embarrassed by my question.
She slapped my hands away and stood up, I chukled softly because of her childish behaviour.

" Don't worry, I already picked up a beautiful dress for you, let me go get it" I said
when I First started working, I designed a beautiful dress for I don't know who, but I think that my dress found its rightfull owner now. I went to my bedroom and grabbed the dress from my cupboard.
Then I came back to the hall and show it to her, and the look she has on her face clearly tells me that she likes it.

She turned to me and asked " why are you being nice to me,"?

"Because I can't pretend to be mean to you any longer" I replied.

My phone started ringing and the beautiful moment we were having is over. I saw the number and it's Timothy's .'Why is he calling"? I thought to myself.
I answered the phone,
"What's up my boi"? Timothy asked
"Nothing much, you tell me, you never call like that? I asked in suspense
"I was calling to tell you that we have prepared a small gift for our new assistant, and I hope she'd like that" He replied.
"A gift"? I asked again.
"Yeah, lily and I thought to made her a new dress through our fabrics, we would be very happy if she wears it tonight" He said while laughing.

"A new dress? Are you kidding me? I thought to myself.

" Alright, I'll let her know about this" I replied and hung up the call immediately.

After some time a guy came to deliver that dress to our place, May picked that up, and my god May's really pissed off by that.

I knew Timothy for a year, but recently the way he's behaving is really started to piss me off, I know he flirts with everyone but I feel he's trying to be a little extra flirty with May. And I don't like that. I know that May doesn't like that too, so why isn't he giving up? There is a story behind all this that I don't know, I have to find out.
