May's POV:-

A girl came to inform us that everybody's waiting for us in the meeting room. Her name is Julie, Noah told me that she was his assistant before me. The look she has on her face towards me some how tells me that she doesn't like me very much. Not only her, a lot of girls doesn't like me in this place. I don't exactly know the reason why?
Noah told me that they were actually gonna discus about the fabrics they should use in recent dresses. So I took a look into the files for a bit but didn't say anything coz that's Noah's job. I'm just here to see Timothy so I should focus on that.

Before going to the meeting room I put a mask on my face because I don't want Timothy to see me. When we entered to the meeting hall everybody's gazess shifted on Noah except Timothy's.

I saw Timothy was talking to Julie Noah's ex assistant. It's not like he's talking it's more like flirting. Despite of being 46 his looks doesn't match his age. Noah took a sit and I stood beside him.

"Alright everybody, now can we start the meeting "? Noah said

Timothy turned to Noah and said

" Yes yes we should" HA HAA Haa...

He laughed and continued saying

"You know, I was telling Julie that as you found yourself a great assistant, she should come and work with me, what you think??

"Yes sir, if she wants she can." Noah replied

I was wearing a mask so he can only see my eye's.

I've spent my whole childhood with this guy, I've never ever seen him flirting with anyone. He was kind and shy around girls. This is the first time I'm seeing him talking this much. He was more like an introverted back then.

But The way his acting it's like he's a different person now. What I feel now after seeing him is that he has changed. His not innocent nor kind and the way his talking his not introverted anymore. And what surprised me the most is that his flirting with every girl around here.

"I Think the fabrics you should use in these dresses is silk or cotton, because it's light weighted and cooling. It would be great for summer using." He suggested

Timothy's statements made me came out of my thoughts. He was trying to convince Noah that cotten and silk would be good for the dresses. But I don't think so, people who doesn't have any knowledge about fabrics would say yes to that but
the type of dresses Noah's making that requires Linen and Rayon fabrics.

So Is he trying to fool Noah??? I thought to myself.

"Excuse me sir, I'm sorry for interrupting you but I don't think cotton or silk would be good for these dresses.
He's making dresses for the end of the summer season. So I think we should pick the right fabrics for this"

I continued saying

"Silk and cotton are great for comfort but the breathability is not good with those fabrics, I think we should use Linen or Rayon for this. It serves great comfort it's good with breathability and it will have medium weight, heavy drape and also its wrinkle resistance is great too. And I think customers can use these dresses for winter also coz these fabrics serves both warming and cooling at the same time.

After giving that long speech I noticed everybody's looking at me, some looked impressed and some looked not so impressed.

" okay dokey. Then we would get Linen and Rayon for these dresses " Noah said

I was surprised with Noah's statement and was looking at him with wide eyes. Coz I never thought that Noah would agree with me.

"Is she your new assistant"? Timothy asked

" Yes yes she is, isn't she smart"? Noah said

" Yes she is. I apologize Noah I did not give much thought to this matter " he replied

" you should have, Sir " I replied to Tim

I continued saying

"Because Noah, aahhmmm...

I realized that Noah is my boss here so I shouldn't call him by his name I should call him as Boss or Sir whatever

" I mean, BOSS is your most loyal and trusted buyer right? So you should have put more thoughts on this matter" I said

Immediately after that I realized that I'm being rude again, I don't know for what reasons but I just HATE Timothy now.

"I'm sorry if I'm being rude, I just stated the facts" I apologized to Timothy.

He just stood up and came towards me and said,
" You, Your eye's, your attitude reminds me of someone I used to know from a very long time ago"

I was silent, not saying anything

"Reminds you of who"? Noah stood up and asked Timothy

"A girl I knew from my past. She used to be very rude by the appearance but she was kind."
Timothy replied

but he was still looking straight into my eyes and spoke again " YOUR EYES HAS THE SAME FIRE AS HERS" he whispered to me

" why are you wearing a mask , ? pandemic was over a long time ago" he asked while smirking

"I have a bad cold sir, that's why" I replied

I have a feeling that me disappearing has something to do with Timothy.

🪞 TIME SKIP 🪞

It's almost time for us to go home. Noah asked me to wait outside in his car.

After a long drive we finally came home. I was about to go and get changed when Noah stopped me by my hand.

" what"? I asked

"Listen, if we ever had meetings like this with Timothy try to avoid him okay"? He replied

" why's that"? I asked back

"I don't know, the way he was talking to you, it was like he was flirting with you, he is like the same with other girls so.."

"So what"? I interrupted him

"I didn't like that okay"
He replied

I chuckled a bit.

"Why is he being cute all of a sudden"? I thought to myself.

"Is he like that to every girls"? I asked myself

I watched him the whole day, every girls in his office dying to get his one look , and here he is asking me to avoid Timothy. Is he jealous? If he is, then why is him being jealous making me feels like as if I have butterflies in My stomach??

"Do you enjoy staring at me like that"? He asked

I came to my senses after he said that

" I wasn't staring " I replied

"Yes you were" he said
