"In the light of Aerinor, where all is cleansed, I banish the curse on this realm. Powers of the abyss, let this break the wretched chains of all curses, hexes, and negativity. Only positive energy shall remain, with a hedge of protection around the affected. And so it shall be."

- Rosalie

Rosalian Balcazar, known by her friends as Rosalie, was an agent of the New Moon alongside Mallory Zauberman. An odd and eccentric soul, she was kept by them as a wild card, unpredictable in combat, wielding the Wheel of Aerinor and the Xepheus Stake.

Characteristics

Appearance

Rosalie was a 32 year old Cerhelian woman during Crimson Assassin, with red eyes and naturally white hair, but she would dye it black to conceal her identity. Her hair was parted in the middle and was, in formal settings, braided and tied around one shoulder, but oftentimes was loose. At one point in time she had bangs and wavier hair, and she changed styles often. Her face had a medium to olive complexion and she was almost always smiling, devious or scheming as some would describe it. With Cerhelian ancestry she was fairly tall, being 6'0''.

Rosalie tended to wear darker clothing, harkening back to the culture of the Mian La'etl, but also drawing inspirations from the gothic fashion of Orogelid and greater Aestagia. She wore a black and red combat dress with flared sleeves and a short red tie, and she wore black leather laced arm warmers. A black leather corset wound around her waist and she wore fishnets and chunky buckled boots. She wore a tattoo choker around her neck and two hair sticks with red ornaments in her hair. She would wear dangly earrings in the shape of her cross symbol. Her weapon was rolled up and stored on her back like a shield.

As of the summer of Fo.A. 737, Rosalie would loose an arm and a leg, being replaced by metal prosthetics created by Dakota.

Personality

Rosalie was described by everyone she met as strange and off putting, and no one could really read her. She had an easygoing and fun personality though, trying her best to act as a leader or someone with authority. She would refer to herself as "mom" more frequently then one would like, which weirded out the others. And her actions proved intrusive too often and she would invade personal space. The New Moon would try to avoid her if possible, except for Dakota who liked her company, calling everyone else squares. Rosalie had a penchant for saying suspicious remarks to others as jokes, and she had flirted with everyone in the New Moon at least once, as jokes of course. Right?

In her free time, Rosalie of course was deeply invested in witchcraft and pseudosciences, claiming she could read the nature of the "seasonal spirits" and perform sacrifices. No one really believed her and instead played along, knowing well that Rosalie would go on a tirade if they said otherwise. She loved playing tabletop games such as Faeries and Fortresses, which she would often arrange in the main hall every Friday night. She enjoyed fashion and Melanee and her would love to on shopping trips, though Melanee would call her fashion sense as gaudy and outlandish.
