A few minutes later, the others remained on the lookout waiting for Goku's arrival. Two energies soon arrived on the lookout and they jumped as they saw Goku and Dende.
"Hey!"
Venus smiled widely and stood up, "Dende!" she hugged him tightly. "Venus! How are you my friend?"
"I'm good! How about you?" she held both of his hands in her palms. "I'm doing great," he smiled at her. "This boy is our new guardian?" Mr.Popo asked.
"Yup!" Goku smiled and looked down at him. "Does Dende even know the first thing about the job?" Piccolo stepped forward.
"He'll do fine!" Goku looked over at Piccolo. "Okay wait right here, I'm gonna go get Krillin and Gohan." Goku used his instant transmission technique and disappeared.
Venus introduced Dende and Trunks to each other, "Dende this is Trunks, my brother, and Trunks this is Dende. We met him when we were on Namek and he lived at Capsule Corp. for almost a year."
"Nice to meet you," Trunks bowed. "Brother?" Dende raised his eyebrows. "Yeah, it's kinda a long story, he's my little brother, but he came from the future to warn us about everything that's happening now."
Dende awed as he bowed back at him. Goku then arrived with Gohan and Krillin with him. Dende widened his eyes and mouth, "Gohan! Krillin!"
They both ran up to him and Gohan held Dende's hands in his. "So is it true you're gonna be our new guardian?"
"Yes sir!" he replied. "Now we can see each other everyday!" they both giggled before being interrupted by Piccolo. "Enough giggling!" he raised his voice, "Be honest Dende, can you really recreate the dragon balls?"
"Stop stressing him out, that old Namekian guy was pretty certain that he'd be able to do it!"
Dende turned around, "I'm pretty sure I can have the new dragon balls completed in a hundred days."
Goku screeched, "A hundred?! Wow we really don't have that kinda time!"
Dende looked down as he sighed, he then lifted his head, "I got it! If the old dragon balls still exist then all I need is a model of the earth dragon Shenron and I can have them working again right away!"
"I once sculpted a model of the dragon balls!" Mr. Popo smiled.
"Alright!"
Krillin turned his head in Dende's direction, "Hey Dende, can you make them so they have the power to grant three wishes like the ones on Namek?"
