Venus sat through another lecture, her head resting on her hand as she wiggled her pen. Erasa would glance at Gohan every once in a while and he would be looking down, peeking at Venus from time to time.
The two didn't speak much today, just a "hello" at lunch when Erasa wouldn't stop clinging onto his arm. After school, Erasa invited him to go out with them to the mall, but he politely declined.
He took this opportunity of Venus not being home to go to Capsule Corporation to ask Bulma for a favor.
"So you want to keep crime fighting but you don't want the people to know who you are?" Bulma asked.
He nodded, "Yeah, that kinda includes Venus too. I would've asked her to design it since she's into that kinda stuff but I don't want her to know."
"Why's that?"
"I don't know, we don't really talk much," Gohan scratched the back of his head, "she's always with Kaito at school and it's just been awkward between us now."
Bulma looked down, "That's a shame. You two were the bestest of friends. I always tell her I thought you two would've ended up together."
Gohan looked away from her, "Yeah that's what mom always says too."
Bulma sighed, "Well, make yourself comfortable, I'll have your costume done in a couple hours."
Gohan jumped, raising his eyebrows, "Oh a couple hours? But what if Venus-"
"Don't worry she'll be home late. Just sit tight," she turned her foot.
"Oh good. Um, I was thinking I could hang out with Trunks while I wait, is that okay?"
"Sure but I'm not sure what he's up to. He's probably in the gravity room with Vegeta."
Gohan widened his eyes, "Vegeta's training him now?"
Bulma placed her hands on her hips, "Yeah he says any son of his is gonna know how to dominate his foes in a fight."
"Does Venus still train?"
"Yeah, about three times a week, but not as much as before since she's always out with Kaito or her friends or she's studying. She's very busy these days," Bulma said as she walked away.
Gohan sighed and walked around, looking for the gravity room. He took a few steps and found Trunks in front of a mirror outside the gravity room, drying his face with a towel.
