That day at school, Kaito didn't show up, and Venus was absolutely glad about it. After school, her and Gohan headed to his home for the lunch Chichi and Gohan had invited her to.
Venus was currently at the Son residence, as Chichi prepared a lunch for her, Gohan, and Goten. The four of them sat outside their house, at a picnic table, eating the meal Chichi had prepared for them.
"Wow, you made all this food yourself? Without any help?" Venus widened her eyes as she looked at all the food on the table. "Yeah, I always do. You know how these Saiyans love to eat!"
"Wow, I should send you one of our chefs."
Chichi raised her eyebrows, "Chefs? You have chefs?" Venus nodded. "How many?!" she asked.
Venus looked up, placing her finger on her chin, "Umm, I think ten. We like a diverse diet. We try to eat food from around the world."
"So Bulma doesn't cook?" Venus shook her head. "Wow, must be nice," Chichi looked up, daydreaming about her life.
Chichi snapped out of it, "So, Gohan tells me you're the top of your class," she poured Venus more orange juice. "She's the best in the entire school, the best grades out of everyone there," Gohan said as he took a bite from his dumpling.
"Venus you're like the perfect girl. You're smart, educated, rich, beautiful, and did I say rich?" Chichi's eyes lit up. Venus smiled awkwardly at Gohan, who looked down from embarrassment, and back at Chichi.
"Thank you," she laughed. "So Venus, how many rooms does Capsule Corp. have? Ten? Fifteen? A hundred?"
Venus raised her eyebrows, "Oh, um, I actually don't know, I've never been in every room now that I think of it," she looked up.
Chichi widened her eyes as she stared at her with a big smile and fell back in her chair. She got back up immediately, "Perfect! Gohan, I have the perfect ring for you to give her!"
Gohan spit out his soup and Venus widened her eyes as she looked down, "Uhhh, I think I should get going," she smiled as she stood up. "Nonsense sweetheart! Stay as long as you'd like!"
"I actually have to get back home, Trunks is waiting on me to play some video games with him, but thank you for lunch Chichi. Stop by Capsule Corp. anytime," Venus bowed.
"Oh I will."
Venus hugged Goten goodbye and she made eye contact with Gohan, smiling at him, "See you tomorrow."
"Bye," he watched her leave with his eyes glistening.
"What's stopping you from asking her out mister?" Chichi frowned, raising her voice as she placed her hands on her hips.
