By the time Venus and Piccolo made their way back to the others, Videl was already fighting her opponent, Spopovich.
Venus walked over, standing next to her father. She squinted her eyes as she watched Videl, who was currently out of breath. "Isn't she awesome?" Gohan asked.
Venus looked over at him and back at Videl. Spopovich got back on his feet and glared at her as he growled. Vegeta made eye contact with Venus, looking at her with his brows furrowed.
Venus looked back at him with a worried look on her face and she looked back at Videl. Spopovich ran towards her, while Videl sent a kick to his face, sending him flying back.
"It's over!" the announcer raised his voice.
Videl panted, placing her hands on her knees. Spopovich got back up, smirking at her. "She needs to drop out right now, something's not right about him," Goku frowned.
Gohan and Krillin raised their brows as they looked over at Goku, "Huh?"
"You sense it too Goku?" Venus looked in his direction. "What are you guys talking about? She's winning!" Gohan clenched his fist.
"No, she's not," Venus replied.
Spopovich walked towards Videl, smacking her in her face and sending her flying back across the ring. He walked towards her again, kicking her to the edge of the ring.
Goku furrowed his brows, "This Spopovich guy, it's so strange, he's powerful enough to shake off Videl's attacks but I haven't sensed his energy this whole time."
Videl then went in to kick his neck, twisting his neck as he fell back. She fell to her knees as she panted, looking down at the ground.
The announcer stepped forward, bringing the mic close to his mouth, "In accordance with tournament policy, because of Spopovich's untimely demise, I'm afraid Videl forfeits her match to her late opponent."
Spopovich stood up as the announcer screamed in terror. Spopovich fixed his head, positioning it back to its normal position.
He kicked Videl in her face, making her nose bleed. He charged at her, holding his hand out and charging up an energy blast, shooting the blast towards her.
Videl fell on her knees, struggling to stand properly. He punched her repeatedly, grabbing her by her head and kneeing her in her face. She fell down and he placed his foot on her head, crushing her skull.
Videl yelped in pain, Venus gritted her teeth and clenched her fists, "Control yourself," Vegeta said with his arms crossed.
She snapped her head in his direction, "I have to save her!" she ran towards the ring before being interrupted by another contestant.
