After about an hour the three landed on a large island. Piccolo put Venus down while still holding Gohan who was still unconscious, "Alright I've let you sleep long enough, now wake up it's time to start your training," he held him closer and Gohan still did not wake up.

Piccolo huffed and threw Gohan in the lake. Venus's eyes widened thinking maybe coming here was a bad idea. The water began to bubble and after a few seconds Gohan woke up. He jumped up from the water and coughed, letting out the water in his body.

Gohan turned around to see Venus and Piccolo that were staring at them. "Where's my daddy?" he asked with tears falling down his eyes, "Daddy!" he yelled desperately.

Piccolo rolled his eyes, "That spoiled little brat," he walked over and grabbed Gohan by his hair, "We don't have time for this." Venus let out a sigh and walked over.

"Shut up! If you don't stop crying I'm going to snap you in half!" he clenched his fist. Gohan looked back, rubbing his eyes.

"Listen up Gohan, I'm only gonna say this once. First, your daddy was killed today, you remember some of what happened don't you? In order to defeat the man that took you your father sacrificed himself," he said as Gohan stared at him with big eyes and his jaw on the floor.

Gohan's lips quivered, "No.. he can't be," he cried. Piccolo stepped closer to him, "Stop! Stop right now! I already warned you what would happen if you cried again!" Gohan looked up holding back his tears.

Piccolo grinned, "Now, I'm sure your father already told you about the dragon balls at some point. Venus's mother and the others are currently gathering them in the hopes of bringing him back to life."

He continued, "However that is their mission, not ours. Your father and I were able to defeat the man that kidnapped you but before he died he alerted two other Saiyans who will reach earth in one year," he raised his voice, "and we have reason to believe they are even stronger than he was. If that's true even Goku can't stop them. Not even if I were to help him."

"But, if you and Venus can be trained, your strengths combined may give us the edge we need."

Gohan clenched his fists, "But I couldn't, I'm too little I don't even know how to fight," Piccolo crossed his arms, "That's enough I can see that you're blind to your potential, but believe it. You are incredibly strong. You and Venus can make a great team considering you both have Saiyan blood. But you two still need training so it's my job to help you find that strength," Venus smiled and nodded at the man.

"But I can't, I'm not as strong as you think," Gohan cried. Piccolo smirked at the young boy, "You want me to prove it?" He grabbed the young boy by his head and sent him flying towards a mountain.

Venus widened her eyes, "What are you doing? You'll kill him!" she looked up at him. Piccolo crossed his arms and smirked, "Just trust me," he stared at Gohan who was still flying towards the mountain.

Venus looked back at Gohan with a worried look. Gohan's screams of terror suddenly turned into screams of anger as the mountain soon turned into dust when he went crashing into it.

Piccolo and Venus stood there with their mouths wide open, Piccolo realizing that Gohan was more powerful than he imagined. Piccolo and Venus walked over to Gohan, Gohan sitting there in disbelief, "Wait, I didn't do that did I?"
