Gohan fluttered his eyes open, his vision being blurred from the bright sun. He sat up and looked around, "Hey, where am I?" his eyes met the Supreme Kai's.

"Hey Supreme Kai," he stood up, "where's Venus?"

Shin looked up, "Don't worry she's safe. She's with your brother and Trunks."

Gohan exhaled in relief, that's all he cared about. He had to make sure that she survived. Losing her would hurt more than anything Buu had hit him with.

"So, where on earth are we?"

"We're not on earth at all. This is my world, the world of the Kai's," Shin whispered.

"It's your world? Really?" Gohan looked around in awe, "I guess that means I did die in that battle," he scratched his forehead.

"No, you didn't die. It was a close call but you managed to pull through."

Gohan raised his eyebrows, giving Shin a perplexed look, "Then what am I doing in a crazy world like this?"

"You don't refer to the world of the Kai's to a crazy place! This is a sanctuary that neither lower kais nor guardians could ever enter! Much less a mortal like you!" Kibito raised his voice.

Gohan jumped and turned around, "Wait a minute you're supposed to be dead! Can you come back whenever you want?"

"No I can't. It's a mystery but something brought me back to life." The dragon balls, he thought to himself.

"Seems like I slept through a lot," Gohan paused, "so why am I in this sanctuary?" he turned to face Shin.

Shin stepped forward with a smirk on his face, "We'll use the Z sword to strike down Majin Buu. I'm certain Gohan has the spirit to wield its great power."

Gohan raised his eyebrows as Kibito widened his eyes, "Not the Z sword!" Kibito clenched his knuckles, "Are you sure you're in your right mind Supreme Kai? There's no way that a mortal can lift the Z sword let alone use it!"

"You were dead Kibito so you didn't get to see him. Gohan possesses a power you never would've expected either. I would've brought Venus too but I lost track of her after Buu."

Shin began to walk away, "Please come with me Gohan," he motioned him to follow him and flew off.

After Shin had given Gohan a change of clothes, they flew off to where the Z sword was located, landing right in front of the sword.

"This is the Z sword. The weapon of legend."

Gohan stepped closer to get a better look at it. "See if you can draw it from the rock. If what I'm told is true, no one has been able to do so in all of history."

Gohan squatted, "A sword in stone, funny, there's actually a story about something like this in my world," he tapped on the sword.

Gohan pulled on the sword and stopped, "Hold on. If I pull on this sword nothing dangerous is gonna happen right?"

"It is said who he wields it gains power! Tremendous amounts of power in fact! Enough even to defeat Majin Buu in single combat," Kibito raised his voice.
