Y/n's eyes widened in shock at Johnny's words, her breath catching in her throat.
"What... what did you just say?" Y/n stammered, her voice trembling.
Johnny turned to face her, his eyes filled with an intensity she hadn't seen before. "You shouldn't be here," he repeated, his voice cold and resolute.

Y/n, unsure of what to say, took a deep breath and asked, "Why?"

Johnny turned his gaze back to the woods, letting out a heavy sigh. "This is all just...fucked up," he muttered.

Y/n, still absolutely shocked by what he had said, asked him with a hint of uncertainty, "Are you... are you still gonna let me go?"
Johnny, his tone heavy, responded, "I never said I was letting you go."

Fear and memories of her time in captivity rushed over y/n. She reminded Johnny, her voice trembling, "You said that if I helped you find Nancy, you'd unchain me. You promised, Johnny."
Johnny's response was cold and unsettling. "Unchaining you doesn't mean you get to walk away," he stated, a chilling tone in his voice.

A heavy silence hung in the air, both of them lost in their own thoughts, a swirl of emotions surrounding them. Y/n was feeling a whirlwind of emotions, from shock to fear, anger, and desperation. The realization that Johnny had no intention of letting her go left her with an overwhelming sense of despair and a gnawing fear for her future.

Johnny broke the silence, turning around to face y/n and gesturing to her unchained leg. He said, "Well, I made good on my promise. I unchained ya."

Y/n, her emotions surging, her voice trembling with fury, glared at Johnny.

Johnny, his voice apologetic, mutters, "I'm sorry, sweetheart," and starts to stand up and make his way up the steps, intending to move past her into the trailer. However, Y/n, her expression a mix of anger and frustration, stops him with her hand firmly on his chest. After a moment of confusion in Johnny's eyes, she forcefully pushes him down the steps.
Johnny falls backward, clutching his back in pain as he hits the ground.

Johnny, looking at y/n with frustration on his face, grumbles "Okay." before forcing himself up and making his way back up the steps into the trailer. Y/n remains standing there, staring out at the forest, feeling entirely disconnected. As Johnny pushes past her to reenter the trailer, he shoulder-checks her, leaving her to her own thoughts.

Johnny entered the dimly lit trailer, the stench of decay still lingering in the air. He made his way to the bed where Nancy lay, her face partially illuminated by the morning light seeping through the open door. Gently, he reached out and shook her calf, his fingers brushing against the rough fabric of the bed sheets.

As Johnny woke Nancy, he couldn't help but wonder when the last time she had experienced a truly restful night's sleep. Her tired eyes and the exhaustion etched into her expression spoke volumes about the hardships she had endured.
Johnny gently whispered "Ma'" as Nancy started to wake.
Nancy jolted awake, a moment of fear flashing across her face as she sat up in the bed.

Johnny, startled by Nancy's sudden movement, jumped back slightly, surprised by her reaction.
"Ma', it's just me... it's just me." Johnny soothed.

As Nancy's realization set in, her breath slowed, and she began to see that she was no longer in the institute but in the presence of her son. Tears brimmed in her eyes as she moved to embrace Johnny, joy and relief washing over her.

Johnny, though still a bit perplexed, understanding that something must have deeply scared his aunt, embraced her warmly and said, "It's okay, Ma'. You're safe now."
Nancy sniffles, fighting back tears and whispers "I love you, baby. I'm so sorry."
Johnny responds, "It's okay, I love you too, ma'."
Johnny's voice, a soft and reassuring whisper, felt like a lifeline.
