( authors note at the end)
Johnny gently laid Y/n flat on the cold concrete floor as Cook shut the basement door behind him.
"I'm sorry," Johnny whispered, almost to himself, as he adjusted Y/n upright to tie her securely to the pillar. Her tears soaked through her shirt, but Johnny avoided eye contact as he bound her arms to the pillar.
"Johnny, please. You can't do this, please," Y/n begged, her voice trembling.
Johnny hesitated, his heart heavy with guilt. "I can't help you," he said, his voice barely above a murmur. He turned and began to climb the stairs back to the house, trying to push away the knowledge that he had condemned someone to a fate he had sworn he wouldn't, breaking his own vow.
"Johnny, please, you have to do something, please," Y/n cried out desperately, her voice echoing in the dimly lit basement.
"You know what we did to those kids, what makes you think we'd stop at you?" Johnny said coldly.
"People know I'm here!" She shouted, doing everything she can to get Johnnys attention.
Johnny froze on the stairs, his mind racing. "What do you mean?" he asked, not turning back to face her.
"Someone gave me directions to this place, and he's expecting a call in the morning. Please, just... just let me go. I promise I'll leave this alone. I won't tell anyone about this. Johnny, please," Y/n pleaded, her voice filled with fear and desperation.
Johnny hesitated, the weight of his actions bearing down on him. After a long pause, he continued up the stairs, shutting the heavy steel door behind him.
Y/n let out a piercing, guttural scream that reverberated through the cold, dark basement. Her desperate need to escape fueled her, and she continued to scream and cry, her voice echoing in the cramped, eerie space. Her cries for help were filled with fear and agony as she faced the horrifying reality of her predicament.
She succumbed to her overwhelming emotions and broke down into tears, her sobs echoing off the grimy basement walls.
Johnny stood upstairs in the kitchen, his heart heavy with guilt and dread as he listened to Y/n's anguished cries from the basement below. Each cry was like a painful stab to his conscience, a haunting reminder of the choices he had made. His inner turmoil intensified as he grappled with the knowledge that he had condemned someone to a horrifying fate, and there was no turning back.
Cook's irritated voice cut through the tense atmosphere of the house. "Johnny, would you shut that girl up! How are we gonna sleep with all that racket?" he barked as he shoved past Johnny, making his way upstairs. Johnny knew that ignoring Y/n's screams was part of the family's grim routine, but he couldn't shake the feeling of responsibility, one he never felt before.
If only he had turned her away immediately.
Johnny descended back to the basement, sliding the door open and heading down the steps. Y/n cowered, trembling with fear as she watched him approach.
"Johnny, please don't hurt me," she pleaded as he drew near. He grabbed her face firmly by the chin, their foreheads nearly touching.
"I've had enough of that yelling, lady," he muttered before swiftly untying her from the pole. Y/n, frightened and desperate, fought against him, but Johnny was determined. He hoisted her over his shoulder once more, carrying her away, her cries had gone unanswered.
As Johnny carried Y/n through the vast basement, her eyes captured the gruesome tableau of their surroundings. The sight was nothing short of a nightmare - the walls were smeared with dried blood, and the floor was littered with bones and decayed remnants. The stench in the air was overwhelming, a nauseating mixture of rot and death.
The throbbing pain in Y/n's head nearly consumed her attention, but the chilling surroundings demanded her focus. Johnny abruptly threw her onto the cold, damp ground, which felt unsettlingly wet beneath her.
He moved across the basement to an outlet, plugging in a bright light. Y/n's heart raced as the horrifying truth was revealed. Her eyes widened in terror as she beheld the body of Ana Flores, suspended from a meat hook like a slaughtered pig. Black, putrid liquid dripped from her severely decomposed form, pooling in a bucket below her and forming a grisly puddle of dried blood.
Y/n stared, unable to tear her eyes away from the horrifying sight that surrounded her. The basement had become a chamber of unspeakable horrors, and her every instinct screamed for her to escape this nightmarish ordeal.
Johnny stood in front of the suspended, decaying body, his hands on his hips as he addressed Y/n in a chilling, detached manner.
"Well, now you know what happened to your girl," he said, his tone void of empathy.
He clicked his tongue, shaking his head in mock sadness. "What a shame. I was quite fond of her sister. She was a lovely one," Johnny mused, as if discussing a casual acquaintance rather than acknowledging the gruesome fate that had befallen someone.
Overwhelmed by the gruesome sight before her, Y/n's stomach heaved uncontrollably, and she vomited violently, the contents of her stomach spilling onto the blood-soaked floor in a grotesque display of her visceral horror.
"Let it out, girl," Johnny said, turning his head towards Y/n. He didn't relish this act, the role of a heartless warden he had to play, but there was no denying that Johnny was damn good at it.
"I'll let you and your friend here chat," Johnny said, a chilling smile on his face as he walked out the door, leaving Y/n alone with the gruesome scene in the basement.
(A/N sorry these chapters aren't meaning too much to the story as a whole. I have a lot of stuff to do but felt like writing so that's why this chapter is pretty short :( )
