Shafts of golden sunlight filtered through the thick canopy of trees, casting dancing shadows on the moss-covered ground. Shankaraakshya like always, dressed in deer skin sat surrounded by symbols and offerings in honor of his mother like goddess.

Performing this anusthaan had become his first nature. Now he could chant all the mantras in just one breath. And even after years, his heart was still filled with unwavering faith and devotion.

As the final incantations left his lips, a warm zephyr breezed through the forest, carrying with it a sweet scent of jasmine. The crackling of a distant waterfall and the rustling of leaves harmoniously whispered in the background, as nature itself seemed to hold its breath in reverence.

Shankaraakshya could feel that the tranquil atmosphere pulsated with an otherworldly energy. He could feel a divine light falling over him, he could feel its warmth.

Beats of sweat rolled down his forehead. But he couldn't dare to open his eyes. His nervousness was tempered with an overwhelming anticipation, every sense of his hand heightened in reverence.

The rhythmic beat of his racing heart began to synchronize with the enchanting symphony of nature surrounding him, merging his soul with the cosmic forces that governed the world.

Yet, even in his nervousness, Shankaraakshya felt an unyielding trust that propelled him forward. He took a deep breath, summoning all his faith. He slowly unlatched his heavy eyelids, revealing eyes filled with anticipation.

As his vision cleared, a radiant glow filled the space before him. And there sat Harihareshwari herself in front of him, radiating an otherworldly luminescence that eclipsed the dappled sunlight that seeped through the forest canopy.

Shankaraakshya gasped, his apprehension dissipating like mist before the sun. An amalgamation of emotions danced within him - wonder, reverence, and an undeniable sense of vulnerability. Goosebumps prickled on his skin, while his heart pounded, echoing in his ears.

"Maa." He muttered. Unable to contain his love and devotion any longer, tears flowed freely down his cheeks as he quickly prostrated completely before her, his form trembling with reverent gratitude.

Years of devotion, prayers, and the sacrifices he had made were poured out through this profound act of humility and surrender. His gaze, now fixed on her divine feet. His trembling hands reached out to them, gently holding them, and putting them over his forehead.

"Utho putra." Said Amarsri, as gently raised him from his prostration, urging him to sit upright.

In that moment, an overwhelming surge of love, compassion, and motherly affection emanated from her divine being. With open arms, the goddess embraced Shankaraakshya, her devoted child, enfolding him in a warm and comforting embrace.

Shankaraakshya too felt a surge of pure bliss coursing through his veins, enveloping him in a cocoon of love that transcended the boundaries of mortal existence.

Few moments went by, before Amarsri released him from her embrace. She looked at his face, tears were falling endlessly from his eyes, just like a child. A soft chuckle escaped her lips as she took the freely flowing end of her garment and wiped away his tears.

"Tumhare bhakti, tap aur anushashan se mai atyant prasann hu Shankaraakshya. Vardaan maango." Amarsri said.

"Aapko dekhne ke baad koi iccha nahi bachti, Maa. Kya maangu ?" He said.

"Kuch toh maangna hi hoga, putra." Amarsri insisted.

Shankaraakshya stared at her for a moment, but his mind remained blank due the overwhelming moment. He just shook his head innocently in a 'no', earning a small chuckle from Amarsri.

Caressing his hair she asked, "Anushthan kis liye kiya tha ?"

"Iss Bharatbhumi par manushya janm paane ke liye. Lekin aapke darshan paa kar, koi iccha shesh nahi bachi. Aap jo saprem de de, wahi swikarya hoga." He said.

"Jo mai saprem dedu ?" Amarsri asked raising her brow with a smile.

"Ha." Shankaraakshya said.

"Toh mai tumhe vardaan deti hu ki agle janm mei tum meri santaan banoge. Bhautik aur adhyatmik, sabhi sukho ka bhog karoge. Aur uske baad moksh ko praapt karoge." Amarsri said.

The sheer weight of this blessing, laden with the immutable love of a mother, enveloped the Shankaracharya's entire existence. Overwhelmed by the magnitude of this divine assurance, he clung to her words with a newfound hope and purpose. His heart, now lighter and brimming with love, soared with an unspeakable bliss that danced on the edges of comprehension.

"Aap dhanya hai, Maa." He said joining his hands and bowing his head, as tears once again escaped his eyes.

Amarsri smiled, and cupping her face she implanted a gently motherly kiss on his head.

"Dhanya toh tum ho, putra." She said.
