Out in full force at the Abu Dhabi grand prix, we all came to support Lando. The atmosphere was electric, the F1 season coming to an end. Wearing a white backless halter top with jeans and a pair of adidas sambas, the heat was nearly dreadful if I weren't wearing a backless one. Leaving my hair up in a ponytail, I push my curled bangs away from my face.

"Audrie, Max! Can we take a picture with you". We of course obliged, the two girls stood beside me and Max as we smiled to the camera. "Thank you!", the girls exclaimed happily. We hugged them a goodbye then left, scanning our passes at the paddock gate. There were so many guests and crew members roaming around. I waved to one of the famous photographers, Kymm Illman, my smile wide as he grabs some pictures of me before he waved back to me.

My smile nearly faltered seeing Lando with Luisa. After a few months, Luisa got closer and closer with us, making it harder for me to not hate the nice girl. The two of them were so cute, my jealousy burning inside me. Max greeted Lando first, Lando's face surprised to see us.

"Hi", he breathes out to me. Wanting me punch myself, me and Lando awkwardly debated between a hug or just a wave. What the hell, Audrie. Settling for a side hug, I forced myself to not scrunch up in embarrassment. Hugging Luisa too, my smile twitched. While Max and Lando engaged in a conversation about his car, I chatted with Luisa about her.

"When did you fly out?", I asked.

"Oh, I followed in Lando's jet", she smiled. Lucky her. We chatted some more, the conversation changes every now and then before Max and Lando came back to us. Watching Lando's arm slither around her, I rolled my eyes.

"Are you guys sure you don't want to watch from here?", Luisa questioned. Max looks at me but I was already saying no. "No it's okay, Ria and the boys are waiting for us at the grandstand. Besides Max her loves to watch the full view". Patting Max's chest, I was shocked I was practically hugging him as if he was my boyfriend.

"We'll see you later", I giggled then pulled Max away with my arm hooked with his. "Are you okay?", Max asked after we were on our way to the grandstand. "Sorry", I simply apologized for what ever just happened. We kept quiet, passing a few people while I kept groaning on the inside. Why did I just do that? And why did Lando look angry?

"You didn't!?", Ria gasped. I faked cried, my head falling into my hands being reminded how stupid it was. Turning our focus to the circuit, the race was about to start. We watch the pit lane open, the cars zooming around the track before they stop to posting the cars based on the qualifying results. The grandstand were noisy from chatters and cheers, the crew members and drivers preparing at the track.

Watching Lando singing and talking to his race engineer, my eyes kept staying on his. He looked nervous, my worry for him forming. The different crew members then scattered off of the track before the lights turn green for the formation lap to start. Once they made one lap, the waited back at the grid, the race finally seconds away. My breath hitched when they drove off, fighting for the first position. We gasped as Lando made daring overtakes, and held our breaths during pit stops, our support unwavering.

The tension in the air was crazy as the final laps approached. Lando was in a fierce battle for position, and we cheered him on with every passing moment. We knew that our support could make a difference, even from the stands.

When the checkered flag finally waved, and Lando secured a podium finish, the sea of orange erupted in cheers, clapping each other on the back and celebrating their driver's success. I wiped away tears of joy as we watched Lando on the podium, amazed at his performance. Going down the grandstand, we made our way to McLaren's garage and waited for him there.

"Woohoo!!", we all cheered when he came in. His hair was drenched from the champagne pop and he couldn't stop smiling. Each one clapped his back and hugged him proudly. When it was our turn, the boys were the first one to huddle around him in celebration.

"I'm so proud of you, Lando", I whispered as I couldn't care and went for a hug. We held each other for a moment longer than usual. However, as the embrace lingered. Glancing over Lando's shoulder and noticed Luisa, his girlfriend, standing patiently, waiting her turn to congratulate him.

I knew that this was their moment, so I reluctantly released Lando from the hug. Stepping back with a friendly smile, giving Luisa the space to share in the celebration with her boyfriend.

Luisa stepped forward and embraced Lando, her smile matching my warmth. I watched from a slight distance, my heart filled with mixed emotions. I was genuinely happy for Lando's success and his loving relationship with Luisa, but a part of me wished I could have held onto that hug just a little longer.
