"Thank you", I said to the guy who opened the car door for me as I climbed out of the car. There were so many people, myself feeling out of place. Surprised to feel someone's hand placed at the small of my back, I turned slightly to see Lando by my side as if he knew I was struggling. His hand stayed there for awhile as we followed the event host explaining each of the timepieces.

I knew we were really out of it especially since the guy's voice was thick with a french accent, our British slang nearly creating a language barrier. We smiled to the guy when he gave us time to roam around. At a split second, Lando looked at me which made me grin, both of us fighting the urge to laugh since we really felt out of place amongst these french crowd.

As if it was a sight for sore eyes, we both were relieved to see a familiar face. Lando's face beamed the same time as Charles' face did. They exchanged their bro-hug, the camera furiously clicking at the two boys' interaction. My eyes turned to face a girl beside Charles, the girl named Alexandra gave a warm smile. The four of us stood there together, chatting about anything we could talk about. I guess Charles just found out Lando's move to Monaco.

The event soon enough went on a little longer, me finding myself always standing so close to Lando's side while we meet other people amongst the crowd. We watch the auction took place, the back to back bids quite entertaining. When the event ended, you could probably see our faces scratching to find a good time to leave. We did after a few more minutes.

Shielded away from the public, Lando waved goodbye to the people then pulled away from his parking. We laughed, looking at each other's tired faces and in that moment, my tummy decided to grumble.

"Let's find something to eat", he said with a smile. Instead of eating in a restaurant, Lando stopped at a few places to grab some food before we head out for our picnic. His car parked along the beach, choosing to stay in. Carefully placing the food in between us, we enjoyed the view while we shared a whole pizza and some pastries.

"Okay, what about that one?", I pointed. Lando squinted his eyes then bursted out laughing. "What? It's...nice", I hesitantly defended. The last hour, we were just watching the yachts in the docks, choosing which one looks the best. By now it was getting dark out, both of us completely forgetting the time.

We watch in silence as the sun started to set, breaking my phone out to take a picture. Proud of myself, I happily leaned closer to Lando to show him the shot. Hearing him chuckle at my excitement, I see his finger suddenly swiping down the gallery app to the camera. Our faces popped up in the screen, Lando clicking the button furiously as he posed.

"Landooo!", I whined at him spamming my phone with a laugh. Turning my face to him with furrowed eyebrows, his laugh slowly disappeared the same time as my face soften, our faces inches apart. Our breaths were in sync, and our eyes locked onto each other's lips, revealing a desire that had been building throughout the day.

My heart raced, my breath mingling with Lando's as we slowly leaned in. The tension between us was obvious, and we were finally about to bridge the gap between us. But just as our lips were on the brink of meeting, a sudden car roar echoed from a passing supercar. Startled, we pulled away, our almost-kiss interrupted once again.

I bit my lips, reclining in my seat while Lando tried check who it was. His face looked apologetic, the moment now gone. We stared at each other again, our lips stretched into a soft smile but once more, our intimacy interrupted by a phone call. Chuckling, poor Max got greeted by an annoyed Lando. I listened in silence as the two boys banter, Lando now pulling the car away from our spot.
