Twenty One

After our evening filled with so much competition and laughters, it got pretty late. Ria stayed in my room accompanying me unload my luggage. Needed to share my feelings to, Ria was gasping every now and then as I fill her in on what happened between me and Lando.

"I don't know what's wrong with me!" I groaned, "but being there with him, talking to him... I think I might be falling for him."

Ria raised an eyebrow, her curiosity piqued. "Falling for him? You mean, like, romantically?"

I nodded, a hint of blush creeping onto my cheeks. "Yes, exactly. I never expected it, but the way he treated me and Archie, the way he made me feel... it's different."

Ria screamed into my pillow, somehow feeling excited. "Well, Audrie, it's not every day you get to spend time with your idol", I threw another pillow to her to which she laughed, "But remember, he's just a guy, a really cool and famous one, but still just a guy. And it's perfectly okay to have a crush, even on a celebrity."

Appreciating Ria's support and advice. "I know, but it's just... I can't stop thinking about him. He's more than just a celebrity Ria! He's my friend!"

Ria chuckled, "Well, if I'm being honest, I always knew you had a thing for him." Covering my mouth in shock, I looked at her with my eyes wide.

"You did not!", I said in disbelief. Now it's my turn to hide my face on a pillow as Ria lists down the moments she could see me flirting with Lando. "Lando seeing you in Milan and giving you that bouquet was a huge tip off to you two."

Sitting up from screaming into a pillow, I looked at her confused. "We didn't even know we were in the same place", I said. Ria shook her head not believing me. "Audrie, Lando never goes to a fashion show! Especially during his break! andddd he knew you were in Milan from our group chat!"

The realization started to sink in, my mind trying to reject the idea. "He likes you, Audrie!"
