What is your opinion on the scent of flowers?
Well, I'll happily admit I believe they hold power
Now don't think me mad
For when you are sad
Doesn't a divine whiff of a flower suddenly make you glad?
The sensation is calming
Never ever alarming
Like you're on a boat
Or even a moat
As you dance with the clouds happily afloat
Now I understand, there are people with allergies too
What would they do when they're feeling blue?
Just look at pictures
Find a bunch, make a mixture
Trust me, there is no trick, I'm sure
You must think me mad for such an obsession
Yet in all truth, there is no flower in my possession
Only a pen and book
No windows to look
And a single painting of a flower by the brook
