Y/n was a very famous singer and songwriter, known all over the world. That was, until the day Y/n blacked out due to all of the events and tours and the stress they caused.
Now she is back again with a new album, but somehow th...
Not two weeks later I find myself in the meeting room of my label, presenting my started album to my producers.
"This is a masterpiece, Y/n!" Max, my producer says with a sparkle in his eyes that I have been waiting for.
I have been going to the studio every day the past week and wrote new songs, line by line and sometimes also deleted whole pages again after they didn't work out like I had imagined in my head.
"We're going to publish the single Better Version at first." my producer informs Sarah and I. My manager and I share a look and I shrug.
"What about uh, in a week?" I suggest, looking in between Sarah and the producer. None of them speaks up, but Jason.
"That's a little late. It's a good time to publish the whole album before Christmas, so people get to listen to is before their whole Christmas Playlists." The boss of my label advises, playing with his pen.
"Plus that there would still be the possibility to make a Christmas edition of some songs later on, if we publish it October already." Max adds with inventiveness, making Jason agree.
Sarah and I share another look and I give her a slight nod.
"Alright, let's publish the Better Version single this Friday." Sarah speaks confidently, leaving no room for the boys to change or even discuss the date.
"Friday 8 PM it is!" Max claps his hands, sealing the date somehow already.
The boys, Sarah and I sign a few papers before we bid our goodbyes. I won't deny that I'm excited for Friday already.
It will be the first time in ages, my fans get to hear new music from me and I can't wait for their reactions if they hear the good news.
"I think I want to create a visualizer for the Better Version single. Something that says 'I'm born again', something fresh and light." I tell Sarah as we both head to the studio to prepare the publishing for Friday.
My manager looks at me with a wide smile. "Oh yes! Good idea. Anything in mind what you want to put into the visualizer?"
"Cities and towns, maybe some lonely streets, houses and places which still hold something inviting and mesmerizing." I state along with the ideas in my mind.
It doesn't take long to arrive in the studio, I grab my cam and connect it to my laptop.
I'm one of those rare singers and songwriters that produce their videos themselves, as far as possible.
During my time in rehab and the year after, I traveled around a lot and found places that just brought me and my mind peace. I took a ton of pictures of roads, towns, houses and so on. Now it's about time to find the right ones for my visualizer.
Luckily Sarah is by my side and helps me with my decisions. Well, she's right there when I really can't choose which picture to add. My song goes about 3 minutes, which means I surely can't add all of the round about 100 pictures. Also I want to show every picture for at least 3 to 5 seconds, for the viewer to get into it, into the peace.
"But Y/n, you can only choose around 36 pictures. So this or that? Now." Sarah taunts me, needing one more picture.
I sigh deeply, tilting my head to each side once as I look at the pictures. "Maybe this one." I point at the San Francisco picture, made during the sunrise.
