After our little conversation, Scarlett and I headed to the kitchen to prepare a nice little breakfast for us and the kids, that not an hour later joined in.

Well, it currently rather looks like Scarlett is preparing the breakfast, while Cosmo, Rose and I only make a mess in the kitchen.

Can you blame me? Those kids' laughter are just too adorable to not have them giggling like crazy.

"Oh Y/n/n what's this?" Scarlett asks with a laughter as she points at my smiley peanut butter toast, while I present it to Rose and Cosmo who uncontrollably giggle at the voice I'm giving the smiley.

"Oh Scar this is Robert, Robert say hi," I pause and make the toast smiley face Scarlett, "hi Scar, I'm Robert!" I say in a grumpy voice and make her laugh more.

"This is not how a toast speaks Y/n/n!" Rose exclaims happily, grabbing her own smiley of an toast. "Hi mommy, I'm Lou!" She makes a very high pitched voice and giggles.

"Rose, let's say what Cosmo says!" I beam, while laughing amused.

"Cosmo ate his smiley!" The three year old boy beam with such an innocent happiness, making us all burst into laughter.

"It seems that someone's hungry eh?" I sweetly ask Cosmo, who eagerly nods and giggles. "Well, lets breakfast!"

With that the kids run over to the table that Scarlett had prepared and sit down on it.

"So which smiley toast sounds like a toast?" I playfully nudge her side, while Scarlett and I follow up to the table.

"Definitely Rose's." She giggles and makes me gasp dramatically, "no way!" But Scarlett only laughs at me.

"My smiley sounds like a toast Cosmo, did you hear that!" Rose proudly tells her little brother, making him high-five with her.

Scarlett and I join in at the table and together we start a lovely breakfast in such a joyful morning.

"Hey about your offer to meet up with Sarah too, I think I'll gladly take it." Scarlett softly says, while we wash and dry the dishes together.

I look back at Rose and Cosmo who do some puzzle together, questioningly.

"My friend Lizzie could look after them." She immediately announces, not needing me to ask what I wanted to ask.

I chuckle at this and nod, "sounds like a plan. Do you wanna call your friend and talk to the kids? I'm gonna finish this here." I offer sweetly and take the cloth from her hands, which makes her smile gratefully.

"I'd like to, yeah. Thank you!" She leaves me a sweet kiss on my cheek and walks off to inform Cosmo and Rose, who seem to get very excited about that friend of Scar's.

Once I'm done with the dishes, I join them in the living room and Cosmo immediately runs up to grab my hand and drag me along to his puzzle. "Look Y/n/n, Cars!" He beams excitedly, as I kneel down with him.

"Oh my Gosh this looks amazing!" I tell him with genuine happiness. "Did you puzzle this all alone?!" I gasp and Cosmo eagerly nods his head, smiling very proudly at me.

"Puzzle another with me!" He sweetly demands and I can't say no to his sparkling eyes. I nod and the little boy immediately grabs another puzzle from the cupboard.

I glance over at Scarlett who smiles brightly at Cosmo and myself, which makes my heart swell whether I want to or not.

"Another car puzzle? Wow!" I beam, while Cosmo nods proudly and shows me the picture of the puzzle. "You love cars, don't you?"

"I love cars! And I love my baby born!" He tells me with sparkling eyes, making mine sparkle with anticipation as well.

"You have a baby born? That's cool, Cosmo!" I sincerely tell him, making the boy eagerly nod.

"We can wake her up later!" He chuckles happily and I nod in agreement.

Together Cosmo and I start the puzzle and I figure that he's a very smart little man. Sometimes I can feel Scarlett's eyes on us and whenever I glance over at her, she gives me one of those warm and loving smiles that got me falling for her, unwillingly.

I only nearby notice the doorbell ringing, but Cosmo and I mainly stay focused on our puzzle and finish it.

"Great job man!" I beam and Cosmo smiles widely, giving me a high-five.

From the background I hear Scarlett coming back in and giggle at something the other person, which I assume is her friend, said. The moment Cosmo sees his mother's friend he jumps up and squeals from happiness as he wraps his little arms around the other blonde.

I slowly stand up and make my way over to them, while Scarlett also approaches me and puts an arm around my waist.

"This is Y/n!" She seems to say that matter of proudly, while she glances up at me with anticipation and happiness. "Y/n/n, this is Lizzie, my friend."

The moment Lizzie looks up at me from Cosmo, her familiar green eyes meet mine. I extend my hand to shake Lizzie's, but she waves off and pulls my into a gentle hug.

"Y/n, it's so nice to finally meet you!" She smiles widely when she pulls away again. "Scar here has been telling me a lot about you." Lizzie adds with a giggle.

I glance over at Scarlett, who's eyes are still glued to me as she just nods and smiles. "Only the good things I hope." I jokingly say, before I look back at Lizzie.

"There's only good to tell about you, silly." Scarlett playfully taunts and kisses my cheek gently, before she eventually looks back at Lizzie as well.

But before I can respond, Cosmo drags me back to do another of his puzzles, which I of course obey to.

"See, I told you she looks like you should approach her!" I hear Lizzie taunt Scarlett and can't help but chuckle.

Still I can't put a finger on where I have seen those green eyes of Lizzie's already.

"Mommy and Lizzie have seen you in Sammy's bar a while ago." Rose, who comes sitting with Cosmo and me, tells.

I look at the girl curiously. "Sammy's bar, you say? Well, that would explain it."

"Explain what, Y/n/n?" Rose curiously asks, leaning her chin up on her hand.

"The familiar green eyes of Lizzie." I chuckle softly and shake my head.

"But how tragic I couldn't bring Scar here to just approach you." Lizzie suddenly joins in, sitting down next to Cosmo to watch him do the third puzzle of his. My eyes shoot up, as I look puzzled myself.

"Oh come on Lizzie, put it down now." Scar playfully complains, rolling her eyes at her friend which only makes Lizzie chuckle.

"Especially after it turns out the woman that was with you the other day, is to be only your manager Y/n." Lizzie continues unimpressed by Scarlett's taunt.

I chuckle at this and just nod, giving Lizzie a soft smile. "And you seem to remember us." Scarlett's friend adds and I notice that Scar seems to get more and more uneasy.

"Well, looks like faith had a way with us." I calmly state as I give Scar a reassuring smile. "So we can move on."

And with that, Lizzie luckily stops the bar topic at least for now and indeed moves on to chat about other things and life, until Scarlett and I have to leave and meet up with Sarah at Sammy's bar.
