𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝙰𝚛𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚐𝚎𝚖𝚎𝚗𝚝

The first impression

Today is the day, I'm meeting Scarlett Johansson. My feelings are... mixed? But more in a negative way. I just can't see myself doing this crazy ass thing today.

"Y/n, are you ready?" My manager calls from downstairs, while I still try to find a good outfit. It's all about the first impression, isn't it? So at least I'll look good when I enter a fake hell of a ride.

"Coming!" I shout back, putting my black leather jacket on before I head downstairs and add my white sneakers, that fit my light jeans and white top.

"Now now, someone decided to look good today huh?" Sarah teasingly speaks, looking me up and down with a grin.

"Oh please, I always look good." I chuckle amused and grab my keys as I walk past her. Sarah follows close behind me as we exit my apartment.

"I know you do, but also you barely wear your leather jacket y'know?" My manager remarks with a soft smile on her face.

"Yeah well, there's still this... image... on that jacket." I remind her of my wild times I wore exactly that jacket. Time to get rid of that image this jacket holds.

Sharp 10 AM my manager and I arrive at my label's place and meet Jason and Max.

"What's got you here Max?" I wonder, not seeing the reason my producer should be here too.

"Nice to see you too, Y/n!" He chuckles as he approaches me with his warm smile. "I'm here because today you're kinda getting married and so why not?"

"Don't put it like that please. I'll sign a few new contracts and that's it." I state as I feel a little uncomfortable with the getting married statement Max used.

"Whatever you call it Y/n, make the public buy it." Jason interferes, pulling me along with him into the meeting room. Sarah and Max follow closely behind him and I.

"Sarah informed me about your displeasure about the arrangement, but don't worry." Jason says calmly, sitting me down on a chair. "I put the contract to your advantages and believe me, Sarah was stubborn with re-creating it."

Just at that, Sarah chuckles amused and sits down next to me with a proud look. "Don't complain now Jason, if I put our Y/n into that crazy thing here, then we do it my way."

My manager's confidence got me smiling proudly, even when now I focuse on reading through the new contract.

I only nearby hear the door open and close again. That's when I look up and am met with a pair of green, mesmerizing eyes.

Gentlewoman as I am, I stand up and walk over to the blonde woman, extending my hand as I smile politely at her. "Hello, I'm Y/n Y/l/n, which I'm sure you know already."

The smaller blonde looks deep into my eyes, searching for something I can't tell what she's searching for. Eventually she gives me a tender smile and pleases me with hearing her raspy, but soft voice. "Hey Y/n. I'm Scarlett, as you know." She says confidently as she shakes my hand.

Once we part ways to take our seats, Jason and the two men that accompanied Scarlett dive into conversation about today.

Scarlett and I take seats across from each other as our eyes are glued to the men.

"I'm glad we're here for this today, Bryan!" Jason excitedly speaks as the two man have a very friends-like handshake.

"This is Bryan, Scarlett's agent." Jason then speaks to me and again I stand up, when Bryan's hand stops me gently.

"Stay seated please, Miss Y/l/n. I'm Bryan as you know now and I'm very pleased to meet you today. Jason talks a lot about you since you entered his label." The black haired man talks along like we've known each other for ages already. He honestly makes me feel a little more comfortable.

Once everyone is done with introducing to each other and everyone's seated, Jason slides the contract over to Scarlett.

My eyes scan her face, noticing a slight displeasure of the arrangement as well. Suddenly her eyes meet mine, but I don't back down and give her a understanding smile as I slightly nod.

Without any other expression, the actress focuses on reading the contract. I can't help to remember how soft her hand felt in mine, just as soft as her face looks to me.

I shrug it off and look away, a whole other direction from Scarlett.

"What about my kids?" Her raspy voice makes my eyes shoot back to her, filled with curiosity. Then I look at Jason expectantly, just like Scarlett does too.

"They're yours still. We won't chance anything about the custody situation." My label boss states calmly and I could swear there's a small relief washing over Scarlett.

I can't deny that I also feel relieved, since I absolutely barely got in touch with kids yet.

"Good. But I want some basic rules though." Scarlett speaks with a firm tone, looking in between Jason, Bryan and I.

I just nod in agreement, understanding that she wants rules when it comes to her own flesh and blood, her kids.

"Those would be?" Jason inquires, looking curiously at the blonde woman.

"First of, they'll be kept out of public still and I won't have anyone put any statements on my kids when it comes to a new partner in my life. Is that clear so far?" She sternly instructs, earning a few nods.

"Good, next of," her eyes meet mine with a firm look, "Y/n may not have and get any rights on my kids, but I want her to treat them respectful, see them as a full individual and also participate on their education at times and under my instruction or advise." Scarlett speaks clearly, keeping looking at me for my agreement.

"We should talk abo-" Jason already goes to interfere again, but I hold my hand up and cut him off while my eyes stay glued on Scarlett's.

"I understand what you mean and where you come from. You want your kids to have the life they deserve still and I won't be a burden here." I state with confidence and give her a reassuring smile, before I turn to Jason. "We should add a contract about the kids or add that part to the contract."

"That's a good idea, let's do that." Sarah speaks up, supporting my instruction.

"Yes, we should at least add a part for the kids and their abouts." Bryan joins in, giving me a genuine smile and nods.

Also Scarlett's look on me softens again, probably relieved or grateful about my agreement. "Yes, please. Thank you." She softly speaks, directing to me.

"Ok. Scarlett, lead the way through what you want for your kids then please." Jason eventually also agrees with us and offers Scarlett to take the lead.

All in one, my first expression about Scarlett Johansson only confirms that she's the woman I always thought she is.

She's a determined woman, knowing what she wants and whats best for her and also her kids which she is very protective over. But as people say, the first impression is just the basement of what's really behind a person's face, body or public words and I am genuinely curious to get to know someone like Scarlett better very soon.
