Lucy sat in her boring Math class. The teacher was going on about integers, which Lucy already understood. In fact, pretty much every student in the class was sleeping or looking out the window. The teacher was basically teaching them stuff from 8th grade.

Lucy glanced over at Erza who was scribbling on some notebook paper. At first she thought she was taking notes. But when Lucy leaned over to get a better look, she saw that Erza was drawing. A sword was in the middle if the page. The lines and shading was drawn expertly.

Lucy now learned Erza was a very good artist. Lucy wish she could draw like that. Whenever she attempted to draw anything, whatever it was, it always ending up looking like a fat pig.

Suddenly something landed on the blonde girl's desk. It was a note. Lucy unfolded it:

Hey Luce,
Can I come over today? Your dad said he went shopping yesterday. Something tells me he bought those really good cookies, I was just wondering if i could lighten your load of them.
-Natsu

Lucy laughed quietly to herself. Even though Natsu had gone to the West side, and her the East side of the school, they were really good friends. Natsu lived on the same street as her and came over often to clean out her fridge or use her Netflix account.

Lucy ripped a small amount of paper from an old assignment and started to write:

Sure thing, we can walk home together. You just have to give me a piece of gum, then you can help yourself to the cookies.
-Lucy

Lucy also drew a cookie on the bottom of the page for a comedic effect.

Several seconds after sending the note, another piece of paper showed up:

Lucy why is there a fat pig drawn on the paper? Did your dad get some bacon too?
-Natsu

Lucy facepalmed.

Gajeel cracked his knuckles while walking down the hallway. Upon seeing him coming, a freshman scurried away, frightened.

Gajeel was currently skipping class, like always. He found school a waste of time.

He walked around a bit before spotting the fountain that marked the center of the school. He went over and sat on the stone ring around it. Looking over, he could see his reflection in the water. He could see his metal piercings above his eyebrows and on his nose clearly. People always thought Gajeel had the piercings because he was a bad-ass delinquent or whatever. But honestly, Gajeel was basically born with them. When he was born he had a skin condition. He had a weird disease that messed up parts of his skin in some places of his face and on his forearms. A chemical in metal could take care of it, so he had metal studs put in him. Gajeel later got more to make the line of studs look even and not a look like a medical condition.

The piercings were what started his reputation.

Gajeel suddenly could hear the echo of footsteps. When he looked up he saw a girl walking towards him, she didn't notice him though, because her nose was in a book. Gajeel recognized the little thing as the girl he ran into several days ago. He was pretty sure he scared the crap out of her during their little meeting.

When the girl was several feet away, and was about to walk past him, Gajeel stuck his foot out.

The girl's foot caught onto his, and she crashed to the ground.

Gajeel couldn't keep himself from laughing.

The girl stood up and brushed herself off. She was extremely short and under-devoloped for a high school student, or so Gajeel thought.
