Juvia walked down the hallway, her book clutched to her chest. Gray was in front of her, right in front of her. On the other end of the hall Gray leaned againest the lockers texting on his phone. A small group of girls surrounded him, Juvia thought about joining the fangirls, but then thought better of it. She always got nervous around him, so she decided to stay a good distance away. She probably looked strange, standing behind the drinking fountain, staring at Gray. But Juvia didn't care. She could do this all day.

She looked down at herself to make sure she was presentable in case Gray happened to look her way. But when she looked up again, he was gone.
Oh no, I lost him.

Juvia immediately started panicking. What would she do for the next ten minutes of her free period? She had to find Gray, she must devote all her free period to him. It was the only respectable way of doing things.

Juvia whipped around to find the missing boy, but she sort of bumped into someone in the process. Into a boy with raven hair and dark eyes...

"Gray-sama..."

He gave her a weird look.

"Do I know you?"

"Juvia knows Gray, but he does not know her." Juvia stepped forward and hugged him.

He felt warm her arms, she never wanted to leave.

"Wha...? Okay that's enough. Oof-your hugging too hard!"

Gray pushed Juvia off and adjusted his uniform.

"Please! Leave me alone!" And he walked off.

He honestly didn't need a creepy girl to hug him at awkward times. He had plenty of those already.

Juvia felt alone and hurt.

"Gray-sama is beautiful even when he hates Juvia..." She muttered.

She sulked to her next class and sat in the back of the classroom. She didn't want anyone to see her, she had just embarrassed herself beyond the world's capacity.
Ughhhhh, Juvia wishes love wasn't so complicated.

Okay, she knew she just met him, but she loved everything about him. His dark eyes sparkled like a lake at night. His hair fell perfectly onto his face, and his jawline was strong but subtle. What was there not to like about her Gray-sama?
Maybe perhaps his awful attitude.

Juvia immediately scolded herself for thinking so negatively of Gray. He was just caught of guard and confused. After all, a random girl hugged him out of nowhere for God's sake.

Juvia put her head down on her desk and sighed.

"What's the matter? You look worse than a rainy day." A gruff voice said next to her.

She looked up to see Gajeel.

"Juvia is the one who brings the rainy days." She stated.

"Okay, never mind, forget I said that."

"No, no. Juvia understands. People cannot help but to be reminded of gloomy, rainy days when they see Juvia."

She sniffled before continuing.

"Even Gray probably thinks Juvia will rain all over his happy days," She stifled a sob, "Juvia is not worthy of Gray-sama. She knows now."

"Oh come on! This is about Gray?" Gajeel hissed, "That bloke doesn't deserve you, not the other way around."

"Juvia kindly asks if you could not speak of Gray that way."

Gajeel rolled his eyes and turned away from her. She couldn't even get Gajeel to understand. Which she should have expected, Gajeel didn't know the first thing about having feelings for another human being.

When the bell rang, Juvia hurried out of the classroom to her Gym class. She had that class with Gray. During the entire 45 minutes, she stayed as far away from him as possible. She just watched him from afar as he played floor hockey. He was amazing at it, as you could guess.

-------

Laxus glanced around the room, looking for someone to scold. He liked being in control of things, and scaring people till they behaved.

He was the supervisor of 6th period study hall. Since this was his free period, he went to the class to make sure everyone was doing their business. He was picked because one: he volunteered, two: people actually obeyed him, and three: he was the headmaster's grandson.

That was one of the joys of being related to the old man. He could get whatever he wanted at this school.

And so now, Laxus basked in the glory as he sat at the teacher's desk.

He glanced around the room once more, but everyone was doing what they were supposed be doing.

Since no one was watching, Laxus took out his phone, and pulled up an online study guide. He had history next period and he forgot to study for the test on this very Monday afternoon.

"Excuse me?"

Laxus looked up to see beautiful girl with silver hair and blue eyes. He immediately put down his phone and focused all his attention on the angel from heaven.

"This is a permission slip for leaving this class." She handed him a piece of paper, Laxus couldn't help but notice her delicate and smooth hands. He desperately tried to ignore the strong urge to hold them.

"You see, I'm new this year, and I have to catch up a bit in math." She laughed.

To Laxus, the sound of her laugh beat the wonderful ripping sound you get when you open a brand new package of Oreos.

Then he realized she was one of the new girls Max was talking about the other night.

She certainly was hot.

"So may I leave?" She asked very attractively.

"Of course," Laxus replied, but mind was screaming for her not to leave him.

She walked out like a modal on a run way.

Laxus looked down at the permission slip, it was written for a Miss Mirajane Strauss.

Mirajane then and forever became the most beautiful name Laxus had ever heard.

---------

Kinana tried to focus on her math homework, but she became distracted when Mira got up from the desk beside her.

Kinana watched as Mira totally messed up Laxus's senses as she asked to leave the class. Kinana giggled as Laxus stared after Mira like a hungry lion. And Mirajane, absolutely oblivious to Laxus's feelings, smiled to herself for successfully talking to the super hot supervisor, for she thought she would get nervous and mess it all up.

Kinana wished she could talk to hot guys like Mira could. Kinana looked over at Eric, who was on the other side of the classroom. He was hot, that was for sure, but she didn't know how to talk to him. She liked to watch him, as creepy as that sounded, but what girl doesn't stare at their crush?

She wondered why people always called him Cobra, she personally liked Eric better. She felt like Cobra and Eric were two different personalities of him, if that made any sense. Cobra would always get in trouble with Natsu and Gray, and sometimes bully younger kids. But Kinana had once seen him comfort a little girl who was crying because she had lost her mother. That was his Eric side, Kinana thought.

She realized that this guy she liked was complicated, very complicated. But she liked complicated things, they were different and interesting, unlike her boring life.

Kinana sighed, she was making this a very deep study hall.

She scolded herself, what was she doing? This wasn't soul searching time.

She stared down at her math homework, now determined to finish it in the next ten minutes.
