matthew stopped typing his message halfway. the white haired male's eyes slowly went up to the contact name. it was in fact not his best friend's dms. his heart leapt in fear and panic, his fingers shaky. that's his boss right there, even if they were becoming a little more like friends. he can't really get used to it yet.

matthew's panicky sense dissipated a little in response to the older male's words. seeing someone's half awake messages, especially jiwoong's, made him laugh a bit. he hadn't seen the silly side of jiwoong yet. though either way, he'll never stop seeing jiwoong as a really cool person.
me: okay goodnight mr hyung 😧
matthew had no idea what to really address him as. sure jiwoong kept saying to just call him hyung since they'd have to get close for work to be easier, but he really only started recently and it feels weird calling your boss so casually. well he was making it sound silly on purpose, playing around like "hyung boss man" or "mr hyung" who says that? matthew. whatever, he thought.
he went to his main group chat.
