***Ichabod Crane x (Tribrid) reader***

(Ichabod's intro) *a few hours earlier*

When I awoke, it was to being buried.
My heart beiating irregular and my head spinning.
I climbed out of where I was laying and scanned my surronding.
Glass jars surrounded me and then my eyes landed on the journal with the letter M.
I imeaditly grabbed it and began climbing out.
'I got to find y/n'.
Y/n always said not many people are lucky to have a second chance.

That sometimes one chance at life is all you get.

I won't waste the second chance I have by not living this life that I was given and I'm going to keep the promise I made to y/n by finding her.

Once I was out, I gotten water and went to find a way to town.
Y/n promised that she stay in the one place I can find her incase anything happened to me.
She search and if she didn't find me I find her.
So I followed the pull leading me to a weird trail and then a noise alerted me to move.
A metal beast brushed against my side, nearly making me fall over from the force.
Then I moved and was hit by a smaller version of the metal beast.
The pain in my hip was excruciating and the metal beast moved off the trial and into the tree.
I heared a bird call and I saw it, with y/n's voice in my ears.
'Follow the Raven, my dear Ichabod it will lead you to me'.
The raven toke off and I followed it, dispite the pain in my hip.
'I'm coming y/n, I'm coming'.

(Y/N's pov) *present time*

The dinner was pack with its usual customers.
I sat with Abby and Gordan sat infront of us.
His apple pie ala mode was now soup of Ice cream and Apple filing.
Mine i finsihed long ago and now munching on my favorite dinner meal.
T bone steak with frencg fries.
When Abby tabbed my arm was when my mind waa brought back to the conversation.
"Y/n back me up here".
I looked to gordan as I chewed the meat of my steak before swallowing the morsel cover in a1 steak sauce.
I then said cutting another piece.
"I believe we all have a right to choice what we want to do in life.
(I looked at gordan, then stretched to see if the warlock from Katrina coven, now the reverend of modern day sleepy hollow, was behind us, then i went back to my food.)
That fate will intervene when it needs to.

Gordan held his hands up, lightly laughing with Abby when they got the message.

He said scrapping up the soup of his pie.
"Alright your right, so you heading to pick up Grimsby after you finished"?
I smiled and said calling over the watiress.
"Yes, speaking of which, I got to go pick him up".
The watiress baged my food and gave me the extra fries I ordered to go.
I then said waving them as I walked off.
"Stay safe you two".
I saw the reverend and i said passing him.
"Evening reverand".
He inclined his head to me saying my job title and family name.
"Detective Mikaelson".
I exited the dinner and i drove to the canine unit.
Once I picked up the sleepy canine and got him situated in his doggy bed in the back seat, I heared the caw of a raven.
My raven, the messager I summoned when I was searching for Ichabod, asking the raven to bring my beloved to me.
I said seeing the raven on the light post.
"Ichabod".
I imeaditly got into the car and followed the pull.
That's when my cars radio sounded off.
And Abby's voice spoke in a panic.
"Officer down, i repeat officer down at fox stables"!
'Gordan'!
I grabbed the radio and was going to speak to Abby after turning on the siren when I came across andy putting a civilian in the car.
I caught a glimpse of his face and my heart nearly gave out.
'Ichabod'.
I stopped outside of the station and said to Grimsby who yawned.
"Wait here for me sweet heart out, well be home soon".
I pet him and rolled the window down so he can breath.
And I poured a small bowl of water for him incase he was thursty and I went inside.
When I got inside I went to the holding cell area passing the new chief, officer Andy, and left-tenint mills.
The chief said seeing me.
"Detective Mikaelson".
I stopped and turned to him and he said holding a journal I thought I never see again.
He then said handing it to me.
"I believe you drop this.
(Once the journal was in my hand, I stared at the Giants M on the cover.
Andy said he found this outside the star bucks officer Andy apprehend the suspect".
I then said, thankfull for being a master of the arts of acting.
"I've been looking for this all day,
(I then said looking inti both their eyes)
Thank you chief, officer Andy, left-tenit mills.
(I then foucesed on Andy and the chief, mostly the chief because he's the most stubborn, andy though was different.
It's like I'm sensing the stench on him for the first time.)
I heared you caught a suspect that was saod to have killed Gordan correct"?
Chief nodded and said.
"Yes why"?
I then said making him see the truth rather than compleing him.
"I got the call the same time I was passing by officer Andy apprehending the suspect.
No one is that fast from fox stables on foot".
Once I let go the chief looked to left-tenit mills and asked he spoke.
"When did you see the suspect and made the call"?
