(Y/n's Pov)

It was supposed to be my one normal day in Sunnydale. My one day off from all the supernatural hell-mouth nightmares that were apart of my sister's secret life as a vampire slayer.
Nightmares that threaten to take away the last shred of sanity I possess.
But no, my sister's slaying activities just had to peek the big kahuna of vampires attention, attracting him to Sunnydale.

Sometimes I wish Buffy kept me in the dark about being the Slayer destined to protect humanity from vampires and monsters alike.
But, being said Slayer's baby twin sister, she ignored the rules.
Which we didn't know existed until Kendra showed up & I found out I became a Slayer alongside her at the same time when I was able to kill Angel's physco ex-girlfreind Darla the way Buffy was trained to.
Only I did it with inborn procision that kicked in when Buffy was trapped in that church.
Imagine my surprise when Giles dropped the bombshell of bombshells when we returned, noticing my difference.

(Flashback)

I never felt more exhausted yet alive at the same time.
Angel was leaning some of his weight onto Buffy since he was still a bit weak from the torture he endured.
All three of us remained quiet, the shock of what occurred a couple hours ago fresh in our minds.
I was quiet because I didn't want to show I was shaken to my very core, replaying what I did in my mind.
'I never could have done that before' I whispered over & over in my head.
Along with 'How did I do that' ? The closer we got to Sunnydale high.
Angel winched & I raised the wooden stake I kept clenched in my hand, ready to throw it at a moments notice at the Vampire that would be attacking us.
When my eyes didn't see any, just Angel and Buffy watching me scan the area we just trecked.
Angel said softly as I lowered my armed left hand.
"It's okay, I just put a bit more weight on my weaker side".
I nodded & Buffy asked before we got into the school.
"How you feeling N/n"?
I shock my head & said. Low enough only the people standing next to me can hear what I say.
"Like how you feel after you hunt".
We walked silently into the library where Willow, Xander, & Giles were waiting to see if we're okay & the threat has been neturalized.
The literature that accumulated over the largest table in the middle of the library that lead me to where my sister was going to save Angel, was just as messy as when I left it.
Willow & Xander yelled, running to Buffy & Angel first as my head hung down while heading towards a chair.
"Y/n, Buffy, Angel"!
They were coming to hug me after hugging Buffy & Angel when they stopped. Seeing the stake and my knuckle white grip on it.
Willow then said, confused at my behavior.
"Y/n"?
Xander then asked, placing his hand on Willow's shoulders.
"Why do you have a death grip on the stake"?
Giles then said, kneeling infront of me as I felt Kendra place a comforting hand on my shoulder.
"Because she killed her first vampire.
(I looked up to meet his eye & Giles said as everyone's eyes zeroed on him & me.)
Her first kill as a Slayer".
The coldest of chills ran over my body as soon as my eyes widened.
Xander yelled in shock.
"What"?!
Willow asked "I thought Kendra was the next Slayer after Buffy"?
Xander then said, following where Giles was going.
"Yeah, how is she the next Slayer when Kendra is"?
