(Y/n's Intro)
If I've learned anything in the short amount of time I've been a Vampire Slayer, it's that what we want doesn't always matter.
You can wanna get from here to there.
You can want to be on time.
You can want to avoid someone for their own good, because say you're a vampire slayer alongside your twin sister and getting in a relationship with a boy (any relationship whether the boy or girl is Human, Vampire, Witch or Werewolf) is dangoures for both members of the potential romantic interaction. But if the universe wants something different, well you can run, but you can't hide.
(Y/n's Pov)
It's was supposed to be a normal day off, or as normal as it could be for a Vampire Slayer; I should of known that it be to much to ask for.
The world of the supernatrual never really followed a weekly, or daily scheduled plan.
But the one thing the supernatural world was always consistent on, was its strange sense of impacting a poor unsuspecting souls life of astronomical proportions; along with being down right annoying/persistant on someones fated love partner.
I was coming to the auditorium on campus of the University of Sunnydale, fuming after recieveing a text from my former high school professor/ mentor Rupert Giles to come to the camous immediately.
Because my dear beloved sister Buffy, has became the target of an Obsesive vampire, again.
I was so deep within my sisterly worry and annoyance that I didn't notice that the boy that doesn't seem to know when to quit and take no for an answer when I spoke as I entered the auditorium.
Ready to unleash my fury on Buffy for her ignorance & lack of listening to me when it came to keeping her nightly activities separate from our lives in the human world.
"Buffy Anne Summers!
(My eyes were constantly on my sister which was why I didn't take full notice of every person in the auditorium.)
How many times do I have to tell you to always gather your facts before running whole hug after the monster your hunting?
(I crossed my arms across my chest as I now stood in front of her.)
Now the whole supernatural community nows your face and where you live".
Buffy was calm and brave when meeting my eye, which was why it slightly unnerved me as she spoke.
"I know but I didn't draw the attention of the monster to Sunnydale this time".
The sound of Andrew's voice made me still when I heard it.
"Dracula heard that there are two Vampire Slayer's in California when he was out hunting one night in Miami.
(I turned to face Andrew, I felt my heart race, both in affection for the boy and fear for his safety after what he said next.)
I overheard him being told about the Vampire Slayers that live in Sunnydale California by one of his lacky's he called Xander.
(Hearing the name of one of my former friends made me completely still with with a cold chill running down my spine.)
He's looking for a bride, you".
Rupert then said as he stood beside Buffy.
"Andrew came to warn us Dracula is coming to Sunnydale".
Andrew then said taking hold of my hand.
"Y/n, its to dangourse for you to stay in Sunnydale".
Willow then said softly as I came out of my shock.
"Or to be hunting at night anymore.
Miami is 9 hours and 6 mintues away from Sunnydale without traffic".
Buffy then said placing a hand on my shoulder before I could speak.
"It takes vampires even less time than that to travel anywhere.
(she then said softly to me in a volume that only I can hear her, keeping her parital vision on Andrew when I turned to look at her; She always knew me better than I care to admit to myself.)
I know your worried that he'll get hurt if he stays after traveling, but you and I both know that its to dangourse for him to be going back out there on his own.
(I put one eye on Andrew to see that Rupert & Willow were engaging Andrew so he didn't hear what Buffy was saying to me. 'She must have told them to make a plan so she could talk to me'.)
Dracula and Xander didn't notice that he heard them, or knew that Andrew knew us, or he was coming to warn you.
That gave him an advantage then, but if you tell him to leave-".
I finished for Buffy as my vision fully focused on Andrew, as if knowing this would be the last time I see he as a human.
"I know, A vampires senses is unparalleled to none, Dracula and Xander may have not known or noticed Andrew at first, but if they come across him again they'll recognize him without them having seen his face".
I sighed and then nodded as Buffy took her hand off my shoulder before I turned around to face her as I spoke.
"Okay, Andrew is staying.
(I then remembered what she said about Andrew warning me, which is why I corrected her while turning to walk towards Willow, Rupert & Andrew.)
And he came to warn us, not me Buffy".
When Buffy spoke next, I could practically hear the smile in her tone.
"Yeah, keep telling yourself that".
When Willow, Rupert and Andrew noticed I was now standing in front of them, they turned to me and I said as I could hear Buffy approaching.
"Okay, since it looks like every minute counts, we have to act fast".
Rupert then said.
"This means that we have to do my favorite hobbies, research.
(Rupert moved to exit the auditorium and we all began following him.)
We got to find a way for Y/n to resist Dracula, once he gets to Sunnydale.
He'll come straight for her".
