Patiently waiting for Daniel to wake up...
Jumbling my thoughts in my head as I sat back.

Till they were broken off by Mr. Miyagi.

" Y/n-san. "
He said my name.
" Hm? "
I hum, turning my head to him.
" You and Daniel-san... Uuhh- "
He pauses, trying to figure out what words to use.
" You, together? "
Mr. Miyagi says which made my eyes go wide,
accidentally choking
and spitting a little bit of the tea.

I put the cup down,
scratching the back of my neck.
" What wrong? "
His eyebrows contorted.

Um, no, no we aren't. We're just close friends.

I answer with a tight-lipped smile, realizing this is probably the 4th time
I've said "we're just friends" or "he's just a friend"
to anyone who's asked.
" Hm... Just a friend? "
" Yup, just friends.
And that's all it's ever gonna be... "
A sigh escaping my mouth.
And oh dear lord was I praying Daniel was dead knocked out...
Cause if he heard this conversation,
I wouldn't have wanted him to suspect anything.
Mr. Miyagi nods but that's when he said something unexpectedly...

He drank from his tea cup.

I go closer, eager to hear what he'd say next.

He nonchalantly says.
This old man has no idea what he's talking about.

He then gives me "the look".

Mr. Miyagi smiles drinking from his cup.

He raises his cup to cheers with me, chuckling afterwards.
What? They were familiar words, but...
