"You okay?" I asked Darcy as she was walking up to me.

She didn't say anything just hugged me, I brought her into my embrace and she rested her head on my shoulder, I ran my fingers through her hair and she sobbed on my shoulder.

"What's going on?"

"It's Jaiden, I took a gun away from her the other night and she's been staying with me I'm so scared to leave her out of my sight"

"Was she trying to kill herself?"

She nodded.

"Shit"

"You don't sound surprised"

"Jaiden is my greatest enemy, just because I hate her doesn't mean I don't know her and I kind of expected it I just didn't think she'd try to execute"

"Seems like you know more about her than I do"

"I can't say much"

"What do I do?"

"I don't know but I'm sure you'll figure it out you always do"

"Seriously?"

"Look you're doing the best you could already, what ever happens happens but at least you did everything you could"

"I'm scared Seph"

"And that's okay it's something out of your control but at least you have a heart about it"

"I just don't want her to do it you know?"

"I know this is kind of off topic but does she know about us?"

"No I couldn't even find it in me to tell her"

"Don't tell her it's going to make things worse, just keep her happy"

"It is simple you make her happy and she's already staying in your house"

"Yeah, I'm sorry about coming to you about this I just have no one to talk to"

"I'm not tripping I'm just grateful that we're even talking"

I cupped her cheek and kissed her lips, but I pulled away and licked my lips. She could tell something was wrong.

"What's wrong?"

"We never talked about getting back together"

"Everything is just really complicated right now Josephine, I wanna work it out but I need time".
