Victoria's P.O.V
The bag that must have been put on my head before the darkness took over was ripped off. I also found that I was now tied up with some kind of thick wire. I looked to my right and left expecting Sarah to be right next to me, but she was nowhere in sight. I was on the verge of panic when I came face to face with the one person I wanted to see the least and to make matters worse he had a smirk on his dirty little face. We were standing in an all too familiar place. It was a huge area with men in black, probably guards, standing in every corner. If there was ever to be a fire we would all not survive because of the few tiny tinted windows plastered on the walls. Then again I did not know what else to expect from the imbecile standing right in front of me at the moment. There were pillars close to where the guards were standing, each of them just staring at me.
"What I am doing here!" I snarled. I could feel my face scrunching up into many wrinkles, but at that moment I did not care.
"She's a feisty one, isn't she?" I heard one of the many guards say as I realized I was probably in the headquarters in Madagascar. This very thought agitated me some more. This will not end well for someone here and I really hope it is not me.
"Yes, she is." Said the booming voice of the man whose heart I would have loved to rip out and feed to some wolves. He still had that stupid smirk on his face which just made the rage in my body worsen.
My attention turned back to him only to glare into his disgusting face. This man was Cornelius Grimm. He has been my arch nemesis for the past five years. In the international spy agency for youth that my sister and I worked at, my missions usually involved me kicking his ass and I was about to do it again if it came to that situation. Over the course of the year Cornelius Grimm announced to the world that he was over with his troubled days, but I knew better than to believe his lies.
"Hello again, Miss Diaz. We are on the same side now. I thought you already knew." Cornelius said cautiously.
"That's a whole load of crap, Cornelius! If you think that after thirty-five years of being a villain, that I'm going to just believe you when you say that you are not one anymore then you have no idea who you are talking too!" I yelled at the deranged man.
I was so enraged I literally managed to break off the thick wire that was binding my hands. The guards all around me were in too much shock at first to really make a move until I had attempted to make a leap for Cornelius so that I could claw his eyes out, but I was not quick enough. At that moment I also noticed that the wire had cut my wrists and loads of blood was gushing out from them.
Cornelius must have noticed too, because he kept staring at them. He did not even notice when I had attempted my leap.
"You over there!" Cornelius said to one of the guards. "Call Benjamin to come here instantly and escort this young lady here to her room."
The guard nodded his head and quickly left the room.
Wow. He could not even take the time to remember his own guard's name. Of course, what else did I expect? It definitely was not change. His ego is way too big for that.
The guard was back and not a moment too soon, because there was a lot of planning going on in my head about how to make Cornelius Grimm suffer. I looked over to where the guard was standing to see the most handsome guy I have ever seen in my entire life. He had green or blue eyes. I could not tell from where I was standing. His light brown locks of hair which looked like they were not combed in a while made me swoon over him the more. As I watched him enter the room he gave me a smile that could light up any girl's world but at the moment mine felt like it was falling apart so I could not smile back. Luckily (for Cornelius anyways) most of my anger was subsiding the closer Benjamin came. When he was a few feet away I felt this weird sort of tranquility wash over me.
"Hello Victoria." Benjamin said softly smiling his gorgeous smile. "I do believe we have not met. Will you please follow me?"
