Yumi's wedding day

Yumi's wedding day.

Muzan could care less. He didn't like her fiancé, and he didn't like him.

Yumi's bridal kimono was brightly colored, contrasting her to-be husbands monochromatic kimono and hakama.

You were there to care for Muzan as the family dealt with wedding matters.

"How exciting is that? Lady Yumi getting married?" You said as you watched his sister get ready for the ceremony.

"I suppose." Muzam grumbled in annoyance.

"I can't wait for my wedding day." You said, visibly daydreaming about marriage.

Muzan cocked an eyebrow up. He thought it was rather cute that you were fantasizing about your wedding.

He didn't know you were daydreaming about him being your groom.

"Y/n Kibutsuji."

That sounded nice.

"Y/n-san, would you help us with the flowers?" Lady Kibutsuji asked.

You stood up and nodded, waving Muzan goodbye as his maids helped him get ready.

You held a bouquet of white roses, standing in a line with the maids that held bouquets too.

Weddings were your favorite event to attend. You could hardly wait to be the bride at your own.

You helped the women decorate the nearby Shinto shrine for the wedding.

It was supposed to be a very large wedding, people traveling from different cities to see the eldest daughter of the Kibutsuji family to be wedded into the Yamazaki family.

When the ceremony began, it was only their close family in the shrine, since the ceremony was traditionally private.

You sat beside Muzan, happy to be apart of the close family celebration since you were Muzan's caretaker.

You watched with awe as Yumi and her fiancé completed an array of rituals. Muzan's eyes weren't on the ceremony, but on you.

You seemed deeply invested in something he found boring and pointless. He liked to see you so focused on something you enjoyed.

After the ceremony, you accompanied Muzan and followed closely behind the bride and groom, a swarm of guests slowly following along as you all made your way to the banquet hall for the reception.

The banquet hall was rather lavish, decorated from head to toe with white roses.

Once the reception began, many people such as family members and friends made speeches for the newly wedded couple.

Muzan was asked to speak by his mother but he declined.

"Why don't you want to make a speech for Lady Yumi, Muzan-sama?" You asked as a maid was serving the guests the first entree.
