Taking you out to dinner, implied taking you to his home.

And his home was bigger than any house you've ever seen.

It was a mansion.

Your estate and Muzan's was rather large and lavish too, but this was on another level.

The Chinese architecture was very prominent, and there were servants at every corner.

As Lin escorted you into the front door, he had a rather pretentious and prideful look on his face.

It was aggravating but you decided to ignore it.

"Do you like what you see, Dai?" He asked.

"Yes. It's very extravagant." You replied.

He chuckled and said "As are you, love."

You rolled your eyes.

When you made it to the dining room, you sat at the chair across from Lin as the maids brought out an array of different courses such as duck, fermented tofu, chow mein, and steamed pork buns.

"Have you ever eaten fermented tofu?" Lin asked with a sly smile.

You looked at the food, feeling nauseated at the sight.

You thought you could eat human food, but you weren't too sure if someone like you would be able to digest it.

You were made to gorge on human flesh.

"Yes, I don't particularly like it." You replied.

He frowned.

"Well, you don't have to eat it if you don't want to. What about duck?" He asked.

"I don't like duck either." You said.

He furrowed his eyebrows, frustrated with your picky attitude.

"Do you like anything? You sure are picky for a commoner." He said.

You pushed the dish aside and said "I don't eat this kind of food."

"Well, what kind of food do you eat, Dai?"

A small smirk fell on your lips as you replied.

"I've got a unique taste in food." You said.

He rested his elbow on the table and placed his chin in his hand. "Tell me more. Let me treat you to this unique food you speak of."

"Human flesh, huh?" Lin said as you both stood in front of a street vendor that was disguising their human flesh stand as a pork stand.

"I've eaten it before. Can't say I'm a big fan. Children taste best. Almost like veal." He said.

He looked at you and smirked. "You seemed so innocent to me when I first met you, Dai. I wouldn't expect you to have such vile taste in meat."

Your face remained neutral as you said "I tried human meat traveling through a small village. Their main source of income was selling human flesh."
