"Michi, I'm sorry— I don't know why I said that." You said as he was redressing.
"It's fine." He said.
You flushed with embarrassment. "It's not fine. Let me make up for it."
"I didn't know you still liked him." He said as he looked down at you.
"I don't. I hate him." You said.
"At least, I think I still hate him...." You thought.
"Clearly not." He said.
You sighed and as he turned around, blood was dripping down his back from your claw marks.
"Wait." You said.
You sat up and said "Let me at least clean you up."
You made your way to the kitchen and dampened a cloth in a bucket of fresh water. You made your way back to the bedroom.
You gently scrubbed away the blood, a soft look of regret on your face.
"I'm sorry for hurting you like this... I underestimate my strength at times." You said.
"Stop apologizing." He said sternly.
"I didn't have a problem with it." He said after you had finished cleaning him up.
His neck— where his demon slayer mark was— was covered in bruises and bite marks. You blushed softly as you helped him pull his kimono back on, covering the majority of the evidence of his intimate moment with you.
He turned around, and you had a hard time reading his expression.
You couldn't tell if he was unbothered or angry and hurt at you moaning Muzan's name.
You were caught by surprise when Michikatsu cupped your chin and kissed you softly.
"I've got a mission tonight. I'll see you later once the siblings return home." He said.
"They will by nightfall." You said.
You watched Michikatsu leave, a pit in your stomach.

As he walked through the forests, the sun peaking through the gaps of sunlight through the trees, his mind kept wandering to Muzan.
He didn't even know what he looked like, but he wanted to see what had caused you to fantasize about him while Michikatsu made love to you.
