In the countryside of the city of Chino, lied a manor belonging to a childless couple.

Deeming this the house you had liked the most in Chino, Muzan ordered the newly transformed Kokushibo to slaughter the husband and wife and take the house for his own to gift to you.

Walking inside as Kokushibo cleaned the gore, you gazed in awe.

"Oh, it reminds me of home, Muzan!" You said, reminiscing on your human days.

"I'm glad you enjoy it." Muzan mused as you checked every bedroom (aside from the master bedroom where Kokushibo was busy mopping up the blood.)

He watched you with a sly smile as you planned where you'd put your belongings in what room. "Wouldn't it be lovely if I opened a clinic here? I had one in China before they executed me."

"A clinic? For what purpose?" Muzan asked as he crossed his arms over his chest.

"I enjoy experimenting. Plus, I could use it as a research lab for the blue spider lily." You said.

The mention of the blue spider lily piqued Muzan's interest, thinking your idea to open up a clinic would actually be beneficial for him as well.

Kokushibo came out with a mop and wooden bucket, bowing towards Muzan as he said "The Master bedroom is clean."

"Thank you, Kokushibo." You chimed sweetly as you made your way to the room.

It was a big room with a large futon made for two people, along with shoji screen doors lining the room to open up to the porch in the large courtyard.

"Wow!" You said in awe.

"This room reminds me of your mother's room. Remember?" You said.

Muzan kept a stoic look on his face as he said "Vaguely."

Kokushibo stood behind Muzan as you kept talking about your human days that were so lovely, although Muzan had disagreed considering he was incredibly ill.

"You talk too fondly of being human, Y/n." Muzan said as you opened up the shoji screen doors in the living room to let the moonlight in as Kokushibo started a fire in the irori.

"I liked being human." You said.

Muzan furrowed his eyebrows together as he grew frustrated. "Why? You were weak. Mortal."

"But I was happy." You said.

"Are you not happy now? I just gave you a house in the countryside of Chino and the Demon Slayer Corps. and Breath of the Sun users have successfully been terminated." Muzan said, finding you reminiscing on your human days to sound ungrateful for what you have now.
