Ava wakes up in her room and turns over to the bed and doesn't find Elena next to her. Ava leaves her bedroom and walks downstairs and says, "Elena!" Once Ava makes it downstairs, she looks over and sees Andie and she says, "Hey." Andie says, "Hey." Ava says, "Have you seen Elena?" Andie says, "Uhh, no." Damon walks up to Andie and says, "Hi, sweetie. Ooh, coffee." Andie smiles at Damon and says, "Good morning." Damon says, "Mm, good morning." The couple kiss. Ava looks at Damon and says, "Where's Elena?" Damon says, "I don't know, Ava. It's your girlfriend. Mine's right here." Damon looks at Andie and says, "Oh, and how's the shoulder? Got time for a bite? I'm so hungry." Andie says, "Oh, it's really messy. Can you just use a blood bag today? I'm already late for work." Damon groans, "No!" Ava tries calling Elena, but it goes straight to voicemail. Ava leaves a message and says, "Hey, it's me. Where are you? Call me." Ava hangs up and scoffs at the couple kissing and she says, "What are you doing? It's not a wind-up toy." Andie looks over at Ava and says, "It's really none of your business, is it, Ava?" Damon looks over at Ava and says, "Yeah. What she said." Ava shakes her head and walks away, when she notices the basement door open, and she gets a really bad feeling, and she speeds down to the basement and finds Elijah gone. Damon's behind her and says, "No, she didn't." They leave the basement and Ava calls Elena. Elena picks up and Ava says, "Where are you? You, okay?" Elena says, "Yes, I'm fine." Ava says, "Where's Elijah?" Elena says, "He's right here." Ava says, "Where? I'm on my way." Elena says, "No, Ava, Elijah and I need some time alone." Ava says, "Listen to me. He can't be trusted. He'll use you to get to Klaus." Elena says, "Elijah is a noble man, Ava. He lives by a code of honor. I can trust him. He knows that I'd be incredibly stupid to betray him again. By removing the dagger, I have proven myself." Ava says, "You can't do this alone." Elena says, "It's my decision, Ava. Please respect it. And make sure that Damon doesn't do anything stupid. I'll be in touch." Elena hangs up. Damon says, "She just hang up on you?" Ava says, "She did." Damon says, "She's lost it." Ava says, "If anyone can get him to help us kill Klaus, it's her." Damon says, "Bonnie's the way to kill Klaus, Ava. He thinks she's dead. We have a chance with her." Ava says, "She'll kill herself in the process. Elena's looking for another way." Damon says, "Her way's going to get her killed. So, we need to find her and stop her." Ava says, "No, you need to back off." Damon says, "What?" Ava says, "Look, I don't like this any more than you do. But, we need to trust her, we have to just let her do her thing." Damon says, "That might be your plan. Mine's better." As Damon walks away, Ava grabs his arm stopping him and she says, "I said back off." Damon scoffs and walks away as Ava sighs.
