3. New Inspiration?

Was it just a crush? She didn't know. She looked outside the window to see him sitting by his wife after they just moved in next door to Anna! It was still summer so Anna saw more of him then what she would like this evening.

His wife was wearing a bikini and he was only in his shorts, that meant his top half was exposed for all to see and Anna didn't mind the view she had. Biting down on her bottom lip she noticed he was now looking in her direction! She hid like a school girl and made her way on all fours to her bed where she lifted herself up before sitting on the bed.

Anna has never been the one to talk to men, she's only had one relationship and that one ended in heartache! He cheated on Anna in college and she later found out and dumped him. Lucky for Anna she didn't give herself away to a cheat, she's still waiting on Mr. Right!

And before I could get carried away the doorbell was now ringing. Ugh! I saved what I had started on so I could get back to it later and went down the stairs to see who was at the door.

I looked through the peephole to see Chris?. Um? What does he want? I cleared my throat before I unlock then open the door.

"Um? Chris? What are you doing here? Is everything okay?." I question him.

"Everything's fine Robyn! I just wanted let you know we are having a little get together tonight and I would really like it if you would join us."

"Um, well? Sure okay! I've been writing all day so I don't see why not!" I tell him before he gives me a smile.

"What you working on? A new novel?."

"Yes actually! I have been trying to come up with a new inspiration for some time now. And I think I've finally found it." I tell him.

"Well I can't wait to read it! Come around ours at 8!" Chris tells me before I give him a little had nod.

"Okay, I'll see you then!" I tell him before he walks from the doorstep back to his house.

I close then lock the door and head back upstairs. I make my way back to my bedroom before taking a seat on the desk chair again and start to write.

"I saw you looking last night." Reece told Anna once he saw her outside her home.

"I-um I wasn't-"

"Relax Anna! I ain't gon tell my jealous wife you were looking my way. It's just between us!" He told Anna before he held her hand.

Anna felt her heart race as his tattooed hand rested on hers. She's never felt this kind of feeling before, not even with her ex boyfriend!

"I um- I need to go Reece!" Anna told him before she slid her hand from under his.

Anna turned away from him, before her cheeks turned red at the thought of Reece's touch, she went inside the house as he did the same. The only difference between them being he had a wife to go back to. Anna had no one!
