20. A Romantic Evening

It's been almost a month since Robyn told me she's pregnant and it's been almost a month since we had some time with each other one on one.

"Your babysitters has arrived!" Amber tells me after she comes into the house with her kids and boyfriend.

"Hey you guys!" I say as I hug Amber. "I'm so glad you guys could babysit. Robyn has no idea I'm taking her out tonight!" I told Amber and her boyfriend James before Ro and the kids went upstairs.

"No prob bro! We got ya!"

"Yea man! You know we're happy to help!" James tells me before I head into the kitchen.

I tell them both to make themselves at home and ask if they want anything from the kitchen as I'm there. As they both say no I make my way into the kitchen to see a text message from Robyn.

"The meeting is running a lil late babe, so I won't be home until 6... sorry! Xx."

"It's okay babe! Amber and the kids are here so we might be going out later if Amber and James wants to babysit Ro. So we can have time for ourselves xx."

I put my phone down on the kitchen counter before I head out of the kitchen and sit on the chair to talk to Amber and James.

"You guys okay?." I ask the kids after I get into Ro's room to make sure they are all good.

"Yeah dad! We're fine. When's Robyn coming home?." Ro asked me.

"I don't know honey! She texted me saying she would be home soon!" I told Ro before I make my way out of the room after we talked a little more.

I went down the stairs to my sister and her boyfriend. But before we could talk Robyn came into the house."

"Hey you guys! What have I missed?." Robyn asked before I got up from the couch.

"Hey babe!" I say before I kiss her cheek. "Not much. I was talking to Amber and James about the weekend getaway we are planning on having!" I told Robyn before she went over to talk to Amber.

As I head upstairs to take a shower I smile at myself before I stepped into the bathroom. I run the water and strip out of my clothes before I hop inside and start to wash myself. As I'm washing myself I think of what could happen tonight?...

I know this may seem like I'm in a rush to get married again but I'm not! I just love Robyn so much I wanna make her my wife. As I think about asking her to marry me, I smile as I know I've found the one! And nobody's gonna take her away from me!
