16. Happy Thanksgiving

It's the day before thanksgiving and Robyn is here with Ro helping her with her last minute school project for next week. Ro has to write a story about thanksgiving so of course she asked Robyn to help out! I got up from the couch before heading over to the kitchen to take my phone off of the charger.

As I looked at my phone I saw my mom had left me a message....

Mama❤️:
"I can't wait to meet that new girlfriend of yours. And your dad would have loved to come but he needs to go see your grandma, she's still not doing well. But he sends you his love ❤️. See you tomorrow! Xx."

I smiled at the text message my mom just sent me. My mom and I have always been so close and I tell her everything that's going on in my life. And to be honest she's more excited about meeting Robyn then she was when I introduced her to Mika.

Chris:
"Can't wait to see you mama! Will Amber be coming too? And Robyn can't wait to meet you xx."

Mama❤️:
"Yes she will be coming and her new boyfriend will be there also. So you will get to meet him as your sister will get to meet your new girlfriend xx."

Damn Amber got another boyfriend? I was sure 6 months ago she had a new man. My lil sister got 2 kids by two different baby daddy's and now she might have a third one on the way if she carries on the way she is.

"Hey babe!" Robyn says as she comes into the kitchen.

"Hey, how did Ro get on?." I asked Robyn as she went to the refrigerator to get a drink.

"She's doing really well! I think she can do really well with writing a good novel if she carries on." Robyn tells me before she kisses my cheek. "I'm gonna go back upstairs to help her some more. I'll see you later baby!" She tells me before she makes her way out of the kitchen.

As I was heading back to the living room I felt my phone buzzing in my back pocket. I groaned in annoyance before picking it up from my pocket and seeing it was Mika... oh great!

"Yes Mika?." I asked after I answered the phone as I sat on the couch.

"Can I have Ro tomorrow! Or do I need to take you to court before Christmas Chris?."

"Ugh! Look do whatever you want. I don't care if you take me to court!—"

"I don't want to Chris! I still care for you—"

"I don't give a fuck if you care about me or not! You will not be seeing Ro tomorrow or any day of the week! Take my ass to court and I'll make sure I'll win." I told her before I hung up the phone.

I threw the phone next to me on the couch and took a deep and loud sigh as I ran my hands over my face. I was so done with her and her bullshit!

The Next Day

Robyn woke me up with kisses on my cheek. I wouldn't mind her doing this but it's so damn early and I didn't get enough sleep last night!

"Rob, stop!" I told her before I turned to my side.

"Ro is still asleep and I just thought we could have some alone time before your family get here?." She told me before she wrapped her arm around me.

"Babe, I didn't get enough sleep last night and it's 9 in the fuckin' morning. And I thought you wasn't the morning person in this relationship?."

"I'm not but I just couldn't sleep." Robyn told me before I turned on my back.

I took a deep sigh before opening my eyes and looking at Robyn. I love her but she's really pissing me off right now! I ran my hand over my face before she smiled at me.

"You know if I did this to you you'd kick my balls right? Kinda wish I could do that to you!" I joked.

"You are not funny! I'm gonna get up and head for a shower." Robyn told me before I turned on my side.

"Wake me up when it's 10:30!" I told Robyn before I closed my eyes once more.

Later That Evening

My family really got along great with Robyn and Robyn seems to be getting along great with them. Every year we do a firework display outside in the backyard and now that we got a bigger backyard it's gonna be a blast.

As my sister's kids and Ro all help my mom with the fireworks Robyn sits on my lap with a blanket around the both of us. Even though this is LA it has become a little colder outside so Robyn's really feeling the cold weather!

It also doesn't help that I got cold hands at the moment and I'm putting them on Robyn's back. Call this payback for waking me up so damn early.

"Chris stop! Your hands are cold." Robyn told me before I kissed the back of her neck.

"Call it payback for this morning! You waken me up so Damn early." I told her before she pushed my hands away.

I just chuckled before we both watched the fireworks as Ro and Amber's kids got really excited. This is what I love. Just family, no drama...

Well at least as of now! Tomorrow is a whole new day.
