6. A New Number?

"Michael! Long time man. How's tour going?." I ask Michael over the phone as we haven't really spoken in the last 2 months.

You probably know Michael best as the rap king Tyga! We go way back, back to our high school days in fact!

I haven't seen him in a long time he's been on tour for his last ever tour... for now. He's gon take a break to focus more on his baby mama and unborn baby and I'm so happy about that!

"It's good bro! Hey listen you free tomorrow night?." T asked me.

"Yeah why?."

"Because I'm coming back to LA for two shows before I hit up Australia! I got two tickets with you and Mika's name on it."

"Really? Woo that's nice of you man. But um, I think Mika's busy tomorrow. I'll get back to you if I can get someone else to join me later on tonight!" I told him.

Mika does like T's music but I want to take Robyn! For some reason I just want to show Robyn who I am outside of being a father.

"Yea, sure man! Hit me up later. I gotta go!" And with that said Michael hung up his end of the call.

I hung up my end and headed out of the kitchen before making my way outside to see Ro playing with a few friends. I smiled at her before I went over to knock on Robyn's door to ask if she wanted to come with me to see Michael tomorrow.

"Oh, hi Chris? Um? What's up?." Robyn asked after she opened the door.

"Um? Hey Rob! I wanted to ask if you wasn't too busy tomorrow night?."

"Um? No I'm not busy tomorrow! I'm planning on taking a break from writing. So what's up?."

"I was wondering if you would like to come see my friend perform tomorrow night with me. I think you know the rapper Tyga?-"

"No way? You know Tyga?." She said all excitedly.

"We are friends! He was in high school with me and then he got his big break when we were in college. He's doing his last two shows here tomorrow and the next night, before he goes to Australia! Do you wanna come?."

"Um? Don't you wanna take your wife?." Robyn questioned me before I shook my head no.

"Nah, Mika isn't into that type of music. So what do you say? I need to let Michael know sometime tonight!"

"Yeah sure! I'll go with you. Thanks for the invite Chris."

"No problem! I'll let him know and I'll text you to let you know about what time I'll be picking you up!" I told Robyn before she thanked me again and shut the door.

As I went back to the house I gave Michael a text telling him I found someone to take with me to his show tomorrow night.

"Hey baby! I just gotta head out for like an hour or two." Mika tells me before she grabs her bag off the counter.

"Um? Mika can we talk real quick?." I ask as we still haven't sat down and talked.

"Can it wait Chris?. I'm late for a meeting!" She tells me before she heads out of the kitchen.
