7. Hiding My Feelings?

It's been 2 weeks since Chris took me out to see Tyga and after Mika found out he didn't take her they had an argument. Chris told me he went for a drive that night and ended up knocking at my door at 2 in the morning to ask if he could stay the night because he didn't feel like going home!

I let him stay over that night and we ended up talking all night. I told him if he isn't happy in the marriage anymore he should leave! I had parents who stayed together just for us kids and the household wasn't that fun to live in. So I don't want the same for Ro!

"How is everything at home?." I asked him.

"Ugh, not that good Rob! I'm thinking of leaving her." Chris told me with so much hurt in his voice.

I could tell he didn't want to leave Mika. He loves her too much and I can see that! I just wish I could take his hurt away.

"Chris?." I said before he looked at me. "Do whatever makes you happy. I grew up with parents that thought staying together just to keep their kids happy was the best option. But it wasn't! As kids we were miserable and so unhappy." I told him before he nodded his head.

"I understand Robyn! But I can't-"

"Chris! You need to start putting yourself first! I know you love Mika but do whatever you gotta do to make you happy! And if that mean you have to leave her, then that's what you have to do." I told him before he took a deep sigh.

"Robyn I know this will be selfish of me-"

"Chris, nothing about this is selfish! You are doing this for you and Ro's happiness. And if you need a place to stay I will help you out!"

"Thanks Rob!" Chris told me before he gave me a hug. I hugged him back before we stood to our feet.

"I'll see you later okay Chris." I told him before hugging him again once we got to the front door.
