9. The Aftermath

After that night I stupidly let myself kiss a married man I haven't talked to Chris since. I feel so embarrassed that I just went up to him and kissed him like that. It's now been a week since I did that and I've just been working on my novel to try and keep my mind off of Chris.

As Anna heard a knock at the door she groaned in annoyance before heading down the stairs! It's only 6 in the morning and Anna didn't get enough sleep thanks to Reece being all up in her last night!

"Reece?" Anna questioned in confusion as she saw Reece with a huge grin on his face. He came inside the house and wrapped his arms around her waist.

"It's official baby!" He told her before he pecked her lips. "I've finally told Britney that I don't love her no more and that I want her out of the house by next weekend!"

"Really?." Anna questioned before Reece nodded his head yes.

"She was upset but it was all worth it!" He told Anna before he lifted her up by her thighs. "Now why don't we go celebrate?." Reece questioned before he made his way upstairs with Anna.

As I keep writing I feel my hand make it's way down to my pants. I stop writing just for a second as I push a finger inside me.

"Shit!" I moan out as I start to finger fuck myself.

I've never done this before! So why am I doing it now after I've started to write another sex scene?

"Uh! Chris!" Did I just?....

No that can't be right did I just really moan out Chris's name?. Shit I think I need to stop writing for a bit. I remove my finger from inside me and head into the bathroom to take a shower.

As I'm in the shower my hands can't help but touch my body in places I have never touched on myself before. What the fuck is happening to me? Why am I like this? And why am I daydreaming about Chris while I do this?...

"Robyn stop this now!" I tell myself before I start to enjoy my shower and wash up.

I step out of the shower and wrap a towel around me. I make my way back to my room before I hear my phone ring. I look at the caller ID to see that it's Chris! Shit! I get myself together before I answer his phone call.

"Um? Hi Chris?." I say as I put the phone on loud speaker.

"Hey Rob, you okay? I haven't heard or seen from you in a week—"

"Yeah I-I'm okay! I just—"

"Look if your embarrassed about that kiss don't be. I told you I wasn't mad and I'm still not! Can we talk?."

"Um—"

"Please Robyn? I need to talk to you about something!"

"Okay! Come by my house around 6ish and we can talk!" I tell him before he thanks me.

We say our goodbyes and I hang up my end of the call before getting dressed. I make my way back to my laptop before I look out the window to see Mika look like she's in a rush in the bedroom.

I see her put a bag on the bed before she puts some stuff in it. Is Mika leaving Chris? Or did Chris tell Mika to leave because he fell out of love with her? Is this what he wants to talk to me about?...

I don't stare for too long as I've got work to do. Now I'm about to start on chapter 18 of my novel and I'm excited that I've come this far with it!

Later That Evening

"So? Is everything okay?." I question Chris once we sit on the couch.

"No not really Rob! Mika's left me. She told me this morning she's been having an affair with her manager and that she's falling for him and she fell out of love with me a while ago!" Chris tells me before I rest my hand on his shoulder.

"I'm so sorry Chris!" Where's Ro right now?."

"She's at my mom's. I'll tell her tomorrow what's going on! But I just wanted to let you know. I know we haven't talk since that kiss but I can't
—"

"I'm sorry I kissed you Chris. I was just—"

"Don't apologise Robyn! If anything I should be ashamed for it because I enjoyed it. But then again I-um, I have feelings for you!" Chris tells me before he stands up from the couch.

"I-um, I have feelings for you too Chris and um, that's why I kissed you!" I finally confessed. Chris looked at me before I stood to my feet.

He took a breath before walking up to me. Chris grabbed my face before pulling me into him for a kiss. The butterflies I felt the first time we kissed was there again and I'm not complaining! I pulled away from him before this could go further

He let my face go before wrapping his arms around my waist and pulled me in closer to him. I wrapped my arms around his neck before pecking his lips once more. After we pulled back from each other we just stared into each other's eyes.

It felt like we were staring at each other for a lifetime but that lifetime was short lived as Chris pulled back from me.

"I should go!" Chris told me before he headed for the door.

I bit down on my bottom lip as I saw him walking out of the door. Chris told me that he'll figure all this out so that we can be together if that's what I want. I told him I do and without another word being said Chris walked out of the door.

After that I didn't feel like writing but I had a ton of new ideas so I went up the stairs and started to write again until I felt tired.
