AAYAN'S POV

When yesterday she called me by my name my heart skipped a beat. The way my name rolled off her tongue, was smooth, and sexy, she made it sound like it was the best thing. She made it sound so fucking smooth; that for the first time I liked my name.

She fumbled many times after that but every time she would call me Aayan, something, some emotion that can't place the name of would elicit.

From yesterday everyone has been happy.

It was my time to lecture so I picked up a textbook to give some important questions I prepared for the class and started walking toward the classroom.

Everyone stood up, wishing me good morning.

"Good morning class, have your seats." my dominant voice made them obey my order, and the silence was maintained by itself.

My eyes roam around the room to find one specific person. And soon my dark pools find those honey-brown eyes. Smira was sitting in the middle row at the third-last bench.

She found me staring at her, she tucked her hair behind her ear in shyness and darted down. She slowly looked up and found me still staring at her, her face flush making me grimace.

"Okay class, let's start our lecture. Take out your pen and pencil whatever you need. There's a small test." the room filled with wailing and groans but one look at my stern face and everyone's mouth shut making the room pin-drop silence.

"Good, that's what I foresee," I enunciate

"Before giving the papers I would like to remind you that if anyone tries to copy answers I'll get to know them while checking. So don't try and still, if someone has extra smartest running in their nerves, then please be ready to fail in the last semester exam." I said, my voice firm leaving no room for any discussion.

Students gulped down their saliva and exchanged looks with each other.

Soon the students got engaged in writing their answers. I kept scrutinizing everyone but as expected no one tried to spoof.

My eyes settled on Smira, who was lost in her world, writing her paper sincerely. She bit her lips in between thinking about the answer but that action made me groan internally many times.
