SMIRA'S POV
I stand near the cute cafe I decided to work in. It's called 'Sweet Tooth', it is at the side of the road so one can enjoy the passing of cars and new people by sitting near the window chairs. It's the morning so the sun is already welcomed to the world with new hopes and dreams. I opened the door and the above bell rang, it made me smile. it's cute.
Miss Suhana walked out behind the counter where she was standing before. "Oh! Hello my darling' I was waiting for you." she said welcoming me in her warm voice. Miss Suhana is around the age of 65 she is quite tall for her age; has brownish golden hair which she ties in a sweet bun. There are a few wrinkles below her eyes and near her cheeks when she smiles and I love that about her.
"Hello Miss Suhana, sweet morning," I replied smiling brightly. She smiled back at me I heard Tina saying ' You never greeted me this enthusiastically or called me darling' I turned back to face and saw Tina pouting.
"Did you remember when was the last time you came on time?" Miss Suhana asked, raising her eyebrows at Tina. Tina immediately came near me and hooked her arm to mine.
"Hey, come here I will show you your workplace." she practically forced me to walk with her only to run from Miss Suhana. This made me giggle and I turned back to glance at Miss Suhana and saw her smiling. "Well, this is the kitchen where you will be working partially if needed and will be serving the orders to the customers."
I looked around and it was beautiful. The interior of the kitchen was decorated in vintage brown, shades of brown perfectly blending. It made me remember Aayan's kitchen. I miss cooking there.
"It's beautiful," I replied. She proudly smiled at me. Today when I woke up; like a habit, I went into the kitchen to boil the milk for him but then it struck me that I was in Mia's house. I sighed in disappointment because the first thing I wanted to see was Aayan's face, to hear his morning husky voice.
"Where are you lost?" Tina's voice brought me out of my thoughts. I apologised to her in a low tone.
