"uggghh, SHUT UP" I shouted at the alarm clock
*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*
I slammed my hand down on the alarm clock a bit to hard, I heard the plastic crack
"Oops" I made a mental note to buy a new alarm clock, maybe one playing a song instead of an annoying repeating beeping.
"Urggghhh Monday.... Why God? Why do you do this to me?" I moaned as I pulled (more like heaved) myself out of bed to the my wardrobe. I pulled out and put on some high waist-ed ripped denim shorts, a light white singlet saying 'selfie' which I tucked in and a brownish wool over coat I rolled up to my wrists and some black converse because no outfit is done without converse.
I dragged my bag out from under my bed and packed my school essentials including my book of shadows....
I grabbed my back pack and iPhone from my bedside table and answered Sandra's text
Sandra: where r u?
Me: be there soon
I jogged down stairs into the kitchen opening the fridge
"Dad, where are the juice poppers?"
"In the bottom left hand side of the fridge where they always are! You would forget where your head is if it wasn't screwed on!" My dad shouted, great just what I needed another dad pun.
"Dad you're not funny!" I grabbed a yogurt for breakfast and chucked my lunch in my bag adding an extra blood orange juice popper to the one I already packed... Call it an addiction or whatever, I love them.
I kissed my dad on the way out the door shouting a goodbye back to him and left to walk to school. My school starts at 8:40 and finishes at 3:20, six hours and forty minutes of school!
At exactly half way between my house and the school I meet Harry, we then walk to school together from there, but he wasn't here today, weird, it's not like him to be sick or late or not tell me if he didn't want to walk, oh well I'll call him when I get to school
I continue my walk to school alone, I began to think about Halloween it was coming up in a couple of weeks and I still haven't even begun to think about my costume.
I reached the school to find ruby at the gate waiting for me.
"Hey!" Ruby shouted skipping over to me her hair flipping every step. Unlike most people who would just wear a jumper or jacket, ruby wore a grey long sleeved polo under her blue checked button up
"Hey rubs what time did you get here?" Ruby looked pretty tired
"About seven forty"
"Wow what have you been doing all this time? It's eight thirty five now"
"Well mainly I was on the computer in the library pretending to care about what this cute geek was talking about, till some of the other guys came and I sat with them, but soon got bored and came to wait for you" my phone vibrated and flashed in my pocket and I whipped it out
Sandra: u here yet?
Me: yea I'm with Ruby out the front see you soon
"Do you want to go sit back down?" I asked her
"Sure and where's Harry?" We walked over to our seating spot, our group always sits under a large tree which flowers small white blossoms, the sun would peek through the leaves of the tree making our spot sunny and shady, every week someone in the group would bring a picnic mat, put it in their locker and take it out during recess and lunch, then Friday they would take it home and the next week someone else would bring it until everyone in the group has done it. I was surprised to see Harry sitting down talking with Katrina
"Hey Harry I didn't see you today what happened?"
"Oh um... I forgot to ring you I wanted to catch the bus today" I raised an eyebrow but he looked away hmmmm? Whoever's turn it was to bring the picnic mat didn't bother since the bell was about to go, so we just sat on the concrete and talked
*RINGGGGGGG*
Okay first period me, Harry, Johnny and Sandra all have English
"Who's turn is it to bring the mat?" I asked the other guys
"It's mine!" Johnny exclaimed, we walked up the stairs to our English class room to find Mrs Frank (one of the best teachers ever!) waiting outside the door
"Hurry up, hurry up, everyone inside, there's learning a foot!" She said pushing everyone inside. Normally Mrs frank would let us sit where ever we want as long as we actually do work, but today she had organised the desks and put our name tags on each table
"Fudge it's a test!" I whispered to Sandra
"Okay everyone please find your seats, I think you may have figured it out already but for those who haven't realized we are having a test!" A large groan crawled across the classroom and Mrs frank rolled her eyes
"Yeah we all don't like tests but there's nothing I can do about it, this is the term test and not to pressure you but it weighs 20% or your final report and 55% of this terms report! Now we have a double period to do this and the topic is... Creative writing!"
"Yes I love creative writing!" I whispered again to Sandra and she rolled her eyes.
After Mrs frank explained everything we were allowed to sit down, I found my seat towards the back of the classroom, Mrs frank was such a perfectionist when it comes to tests, she puts the students that normally talk, cheat or distract other kids up the front where she can keep an eye on them, while the more trustworthy kids at the back, so I guess she trusts me. I sat near two kids, Neville Snipe, he was best in the class at maths, a teacher's pet and great at persuasive writing. I also sat near Brick Brainy, even with the unfortunate alliteration, he is not nearly as smart as his last name suggests, brick was more of a.... Brick, he's stubborn, tough, pretty dull but really hot. Not saying that bricks are hot or anything.... Brick stared blankly forward his flawless jaw clenched, brick went to my primary school along with ruby, harry and johnny, but harry really didn't like brick so it was hard to become friends with him, so i just gave up
"hey brick!" he blinked heavily obviously annoyed
"can't we just get this test over with?" he glared at me then looked away, rudddeeeeee! doesnt he know any manners?
"okay you can start writing now!"

Okay so this is the first chapter of my book (um duh we already know that!) oh sorry right.
I don't personally like this beginning chapter much so I will probably edit it.
Please don't stop reading the story, I update every after noon for a week then I don't update at all for a week, then I update for a week and so on... Introduction of everyone is in a couple of chapters.
